  1. I played #129760681 for four hours, ended up cashing in 182nd for 20 bucks. Not bad for a $1 investment, and it was a pretty fun tourney, but a giant $4.40 would have been cool.
  2. Daniel NegreanuScotty NguyenPhil HellmuthTom DwanGabe KaplanAntonio EsfandiariDario MinieriGus HansenMike MatusowI would pay ****ing money to see this happen.
  3. Well, I said yesterday the unreal final table would be:1. Daniel Negreanu2. Tom Dwan3. Dario Minieri4. Mike Matusow5. Scotty Nguyen6. Gus HansenNow only Hansen and Dwan left. I can only dream...Out of the field so far, I would want:1. Tom Dwan2. Gus Hansen3. JC Tran4. Amir Vahedi5. Andrew Black6. Carlos Mortensen, I guess
  4. No chance, Dan is gone.Calls all in with 78? Are you kidding me? What a garbage hand for Daniel to lose to. I'm sure they will put the details on Card Player live updates, and I look forward to a great blog analysis by Daniel.Well played, made the money, excellent result. Clearly played extremely well to still kick ass with a short stack after getting coolered so many times. Always got smahed by a bad beat or cold deck, then played well to get back up. Couldn't get away from bad cards and bad players.
  5. Eliminated? That guy made a straight....not the most easy to read message.
  6. Well done today Daniel, very swingy but nice work.As this point in the tournament, would you estimate your chances of FTing as being much higher if you had, say, 250k instead of 150k?
  7. A totally unreal final table would be:1. Daniel Negreanu2. Tom Dwan3. Dario Minieri4. Mike Matusow5. Scotty Nguyen6. Gus HansenGreat mix of popularity, skills and legendary-ness.
  8. It's posts like these that make me have faith in a forum designed to discuss poker. If you have genuine advice, such as this, then I welcome it. It's not just me, it's every single player here or 2+2 that makes a thread either A: not at high stakes or B: not adhering to each individual reader's idea of a "perfect' play, then it's time to reply and be a douchebag about it. And, of course, make checkboxes with lame remarks.I'm not a high stakes player, I know that. I don't care. I'm a donk. I suck. It seems every player who replies was born an amazing player, and with thousands of dollars to pla
  9. I'm shoving because I get the shits - ie, pissed off, ie mad, ie another synonym. If you couldn't read my reason in the very sentence that you yourself decided to highlight as bold, then I feel sorry for you.I'm not laughing, so it's not a "jopke". Your face is a "jopke".
  10. Not my fault you can't comprehend basic English little kid. Go back to kindergarten where they make checkboxes out of punctuation marks. Maybe then you can get over yourself and make a decent contribution instead of being a complete ****wit.
  11. So I'm sitting there in a $2 heads-up SNG. Massive stakes. This is a general scenario, not describing one event in particular.I'm holding 8 2, 7 3, J 4 or some such garbage in the BB. Small blind folds, instead of calling 10 chips (out of say, 1500 starting stack).Yawn. Next hand, fold. Next hand, fold.I get the shits and shove, get beaten. Whatever. So do good players actually fold any hand heads-up at such miniscule blinds? Am I supposed to respect their intelligent play for not calling with a lousy hand?
  12. I was chipleader for pretty much the whole tourney, kinda disappointing for third. At the end I just couldn't get a hand, and that was that!
  13. Tournament ID: 8156691518 players remain, currently 12 left.Average stack 22500, I'm chipleader with 60000.Late for rails, but I'm killing it!EDIT: Third place for $85. Not too shabby!
  14. 3rd in chips out of 140 remaining.EDIT: Chipleader with 13k, second place 9k.EDIT: 22 players remain, I'm chipleader with over 50k, second place has 26k.EDIT: Final 5, chipleader with 120k.EDIT: Dang. Hit by a few bad hands, last one was a cooler. AQ plus two other cards on the board, all clubs. I have the Jack of clubs, the only card that can beat me is the King of clubs. He had it :(Third place for $85.68 cash. Thanks for the stake MJINK3, PM sent.
