Does anyone go for the check call line on the river? You figure it limits your loss to a flush, and gives a weaker hand an opportunity to bluff at the scare card.

I thought about this but I thought since this was a heads up hand automatically putting him on the flush (before the minraise) was too weak, and there are a ton of two pair hands that will pay me off, and they would also be scared of the flush.

Feels like AK to me, not a flush (especially looking at the thread title). You said he has been fairly quiet for the 15 hands you were at the table, now he is raising UTG, that limits his range. Most of the hands he is raising with that make their flush on the river are c-betting this flop, but he is checking behind. AKd = monster draw, AQd = monster draw, AJd = tptk + fd, ATd = pair + fd.The check behind does feel like he has some kind of draw though and I think sets and overpairs would've revealed themselves on the flop/turn. Hands like AJo/AQo don't really fit this line either.I am still definitely calling though.

oh, that sucks.I still call the minraise on the river expecting to see a flush. Only the AK of diamonds might be this quiet on the turn, but I seriously doubt our straight is beat by another straight. King 9 isn't raising us from UTG.
