If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

and after 3 days, he is risen!

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

Unnatural rot resistance, too.

I'm *just* barely old enough to remember when a vegetable being 'in season' was a huge cost arbiter. These days, its pretty much irrelevant since so much of our food is imported. Also, you'd buy them and have to eat them in 2-3 days before they'd spoil. Now, they've already spent 2 weeks coming from Argentina before they even hit the shelf.

You look back through history, there are just so many things that received the 'Official Seal Of Approval' that turned out to be wildly dangerous. My elementary school had a cafeteria ceiling sprayed with pillowy, white asbestos. Then, 20-30 years later, the unforseen consequences start cropping up when shipbuilders and roofers start keeling over from mesothelioma and OOPS, turns out we were wrong. God knows how much of that shit I ate on my 'breaded processed chicken meat product patties' that were a favorite in the 1st Grade..

I loves me some science but only when its neutral and fact based. Agenda driven science, 'funded by...' studies are rarely trustworthy. Even scarier when systems of government become perverted with interest-entities, which ag has.

I'm eating a tomato fresh out of my garden right now, and it's so sweet and delicious. So meaty too.

Yeah, I mean stuff like Chimay is fantastic, and if you compare it to wine, which it basically has the same alcohol content as, it's not expensive.

Chimay is ok, I think it's way over priced for what it is. Same with Duvel.

I would totally rather have this

100% of people giving Obama shit about the tan suit are mental retards. Summer suits are the best.

Going out today, buying a tan suit, O' Captain, My Captain.

I sure hope Mens Warehouse has 9XL.

I think he looks great.

I remember reading an interview where he said he cut his wardrobe down to like two different colored shirts and shirts because that was just one less meaningless decision he had to make a day. Must not have a lot going on if he's stepping out of that safe zone.

I'm desperately trying to quit sodas altogether. I'm down to one at lunch. Which is a long long way from where I was.

I'm not desperate about it but I am cutting down. Stopped buying sodas during the day/for lunch and get a bottle of water or lemonade instead. I still have 1 pepsi in the evening when I get home. Surprised at the lack of caffeine headaches, though I do drink a bunch of coffee in the morning.

Are people really bitching about it? Like it's wrong to do? That is saddening.

He shoulda rocked a sear sucker.

I couldn't care less but I did do a double take when I saw his news conference with the tan suit. Mentioned to my wife that I couldn't remember seeing a president wear a tan suit before. Forgot all about it until you guys mentioned it.

His last month in office, he should rock nothing but 8 button black guy suits. Red, lime green, purple, etc

More likely that he'd wear a Thawb.

Yeah, not like Russia is invading it's neighbors or Isis is wiping out scores of people in Iraq and Syria or anything.

Right? Maybe he should take some time from the safe zone to come up with a strategy for dealing with Isis since he has none according to him.

I'm going to the Hollywood Bowl tonight. It's John Williams, with an appearance by Seth MacFarlane.

(I think Seth's plastic surgery has him looking Carrot-Top esque.)

Edit: I had garlic tater tots for dinner. I blame Essay.

Hopefully, 'Operation We Don't Care' is completely underway.

I will have an occasional soda if I get fast food, which is very rare these days. Other than that it's water or beer.

I guess if I have a mixed drink, I will have coke in it. But that's a couple times a year these days.

Same, although I drink milk a fair bit, because it's the bomb.

You drink milk? That's kinda weird. I never drink milk, of any flavor, ever, on its own.

I'll have a rock glass worth with 3 ice cubes if I'm having chocolate cake. I'll have some for dipping Oreos. And I'll have milk with my cereal. Never buy anything more than 1%.

Now, with cooking, heavy whipping cream. So good in my roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Gotta warm it first so it doesn't mess with the hot potatoes when you pour it in.

Will also use 3 cups of whole milk and 2 cups of heavy cream (and almond extract) when making the filling for my homemade cream puffs. Think smaller Boston creme donut with a tad harder shell. Make that from scratch. Flour, butter, eggs. Labor intensive yet so good. I feel I've gotten sidetracked but now I know what I'm doing tomorrow or Sunday.

I almost never drink milk, unless it's banana flavored. Then it's literally my favorite drink.

There is banana flavored milk? I may need to use that when I make my banana pancakes, in addition to the smashed bananas. Double down on the flavor.

Heavy whipping cream is an underrated ingredient. Use 1 or 2%, or even whole milk, when a recipe calls for heavy cream and you will be left underwhelmed by the dish.

I drink milk some. I go through spurts where I drink it a lot for a while and then I'll go a month and realize I haven't had any the whole time. Always 2% though.
