How Would You Play This Tournament?

With those deep stacks, I think I'd play pretty tight for a long time and try to make the big hands really count. No need to get too crazy early for small pots. Preserve chips as much as possible and as the blinds get bigger, ramp up the aggression.

"Playing tight" and "not doing anything crazy" are two very different things. If there is one time to open up your preflop range, it is when you have 200BB in front of you. You can raise small pairs and still setmine, you can play suited connectors in position behind a raise and a call, etc. It's a great way to build an aggressive image cheaply, and such an image can help you a lot later on.Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you have to play loose early on - if you're not comfortable doing it, then by all means just sit back and use your time to get reads on others.By the way, if you're not used to playing this deep, I can very much recommend practicing a bit in deepstacked cash games. I learned a ton about early stage MTT play when I switched to playing deepstacked cash for a few months.

I strongly agree with everything that was said in this post.

Not enough info. What is blind structure? Something like this...25-5050-10075-150100-200150-300200-400Is vastly different from...25-5050-100100-200200-400Vastly changes tournament approach.
