I play SNG on FullTiltPoker. Playing tight until 4 or 5-handed then switching gears I have cashed in 12 of 16 $5 SNG tournaments. Naturally I got cocky and bumped up to the $10 SNG - only to cash in only 3 of 10. Is the skill level decidedly different between these two levels or is my track record just too short to draw any conclusions???

Track record is way too short, I think you need at least 300 SnGs or something to make a statistical conclusion. The skill level from $5 to $10 is not much different- I don't know though, I play on EVERYWHERE BUT UB and FT, but it should be the same. If you have to br you could possibly stay at $10, but if not, I would recommend playing a lot more before making a jump.

no.when I 1st started playing online all i did was sngs, logged a few hundred, and did it quite well. Cash games and MTT are better for me now, though. But anyway, theres no real difference up to 100$. 200$ gets a bit harder IMO, but is still basically the same. On poker prophecy I was about 53% in the money no matter what level i played at. Actaully 30s i was almost 66% so they might be softer of my best comfort level, but basically its all the same. Remeber not to play above your head when moving up. Scared money is dead money.
