Has anyone heard of this place. my girlfriend got a free 3 day stay there. Ive read reviews that sound good, but i wanted to here it from someone. Let me know, thanks.
Review from here: Priceline Reviews"i know...i know.... me & my wife signed up for the free trip. 4 days 3 nights at the frontier, and a bunch of free stuff. we just had to pay for air, & meals. i thought we were gonna get the high pressure sales but we told them we already own a timeshare (which we really do)they said thank you and we were done. 65 minutes tops. no high pressure tactics and we got our hotel paid for. i don't reccomend this for everyone but it worked for us and we had a great time in vegas on them."

its a refundable deposit, and if not 95 bucks for 2 nights in vegas isnt bad. The reviews ive seen say it is a 5 star resort.

It's a timeshare. I go past it on my way to dealer school every day. It's a hike from the strip, you'll def. need to rent a car if you plan on doing anything. Other than that it looks nice, and my parents stayed there and got off without that long of a sales pitch(already own a timeshare as well)Semi brag post?

I stayed there this past July. My friend's parents had already been there for their free nights with the sales pitch, and decided to purchase a time-share. Basically, we got to use an already purchased time-share so I can't tell you anything about the sales pitch. The hotel itself is nice though, nothing special for vegas, but definitely not a Holiday Inn. We had a one-bed room but it was in an actual bedroom and there was a completely separate living room that included a futon, which I slept on. The room also had a pretty nice bathroom and a very nice kitchen. The place is pretty far from the action on the Strip though. They have two Tahiti Village buses that leave every 30 min but only until around midnight on weekdays, and only 2am on weekends. A cab from Tahiti Village to around Caesars Palace will cost at least $10. That's about everything that came to mind.

Sorry, lost track of this post and had to find it. Yes you can take taxis but I would honestly suggest renting a car which you can get for like $70 for the weekend and you won't be at the mercy of having to call for a cab or wait for the free shuttle. Also, this will allow you to visit sites off the strip and eat at inexpensive restaurants and not the crazy expensive ones on the strip. For the actual hotel it's shaped more like a home like prior mentioned and it's not amazing, just better than your run of the milll hotels. It's worth staying in basically, unless you want to be on the strip.Oh, and my semi-brag post was the "living in Vegas" part of that. The fact that I get to drive the strip every day to go to class is pretty sweet, I suggest everyone try it.

What school do you attend? I just submitted my preliminary app for microbiology grad school at UNLV. I shouldn't have any trouble being admitted so it's just a matter of if I want to go there. If you do go to UNLV do you have anything good/bad to say about it?

I go to dealers school at American Dealing School on South Las Vegas Blvd. I got accepted to UNLV but they screwed me with transfer credits and wanted me to be a freshman again so I said **** them. Nice campus though.
