dead money 1 Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 If any of you watch Numbers(my favorite show) and saw tonights episode, then you would have noticed Annie Duke playing a blackjack dealer at the Bicycle Casino in the beginning of the show. As a huge math geek, I must support any show that makes its main character a mathematician, however, I will admit that my reaction to the show has been mixed, as it seems to be a generic police drama with a few math buzzwords thrown in. However, some of the math topics they discuss are interesting, as well as some of the characters (especially the physicist character who in the gambling episode was the "reformed" card counter) and along the lines of "beggars can't be choosers" I will continue to watch it...And I also did the double take when I saw Annie there, its nice to know I'm not going crazy (at least not in regards to this).
