LongLiveYorke 38 Posted January 19, 2006 Share Posted January 19, 2006 I'm pretty sure that if one person has a pocket pair, the chances that another person has a pocket pair are greater than if the first person had unpaired cards. But I haven't done the math explicitly yet. Also, the amount that it would increase the chances is small enough as to be meaningless. Link to post Share on other sites

If you have been delt a pair there are less cards in the deck and two of those cards are taken. So the table has a better chance of pairing their first card than if you didn't have a pair.
