  1. You guys are going the wrong route. We don't need a stinky acronym. You need something pure, something simple, something that rolls off the tongue. Something that implies something. Stud, Razz, Omaha, Hold'emI vote for: GravityAnd I give up all rights so that FCP/Pokerstars is credited with the book.
  2. He's called "chainsaw" because he is always cutting things down. Very pessimistic personality. Very fitting nickname. You're just looking at chainsaw in the wrong light. It's not blood and badass motorbikes, it's always chopping the legs out of an argument. "My KK ran into AA twice!" is an example. Always bitching, telling the sorrow about your fate.In this case, "chainsaw" again layed the smack down, because there is no ground to stand on. The early structures were changed to a faster pace. By changing the structures to a faster pace, players like Arieh, Williams, and other "see a lot of
  3. I will let an expert give you a more complete answer, but it means what it says. The first 8,000 or so hands you (probably) played tighter then normal. More then likely because you were aware of your new PT software. As time passed by, you went from being less passive, and got more aggressive on the flop and turn. It's nothing to worry about. More aggressive play on the flop and turn correlates to alot more times where opponents play back at you. but as you can see, your more aggressive play is still more then compensating for that slight loss when opponents take down the pot on flop/turn.
  4. Opp AA 85.3 73.4 63.9 55.9 49.2 43.6 38.8 34.7 31.1 With two opponents already all-in, your Aces hold approx. a 73.4 percent chance of winning in showdown. By letting a third party potentially decide to call, you drop from 73.4 vs 2 opponents to 63.9 vs. 3 opponents. And for the rare instance, you get the third party to call, any astute player isn't going to throw another chip at the pot unless he has AA crushed. It's implicit collusion. More players then not are going to check it down with you to try and take 2 guys out. To conclude, I just dont think the rare times you run into a nut job sho

  6. The fields are obviously larger, so doing this is only that much more unlikely, but I think the winner of this pool is going to be the player that steps out and gambles with a player(s) that everyone else doesnt have. But, if someone this year pulls a Layne Flack, Ted Forrest, Phil Ivey domination of the WSOP and wins 3 bracelets, and it happens to be a not so top-tier pick, thats what's going to seal the deal.Like already mentioned and should be understood, alot of people are going to have the EXACT same brackets. If you want to win, stick it in with the 2 outer and gambol. How awesome woul
  7. 125,000 to 1 to win 3 of the 4 tournaments. You're still 50 to 1 against winning the 4 tournament no matter how well or poor you did in the other three. So the odds you won't win the 4 tournament are 50 to 1.
  8. I havent been online in quite sometime, so if this is alread known, well it's worth repeating again. "CobaltBlue" appears to have taken 2nd place over the weekend in Bodog's 100k for 13k+. Congrats. If that's not you, then someone riding your nuts, did.

  10. You take away Antonio Esfandiari, Mr. Laak, and Phil Hellmuth, and you are left with a table that couldnt' collectively beat a micro stakes table for profit. And the order of which I listed those three real poker players in my sentence was intended.
  11. Back around circa 2002 most new PC's from say Dell came preloaded with sample pictures, sample music, etc. Those arctic skyline tree and sunset avatars you see are the sample pictures from their PC.

  13. The quickest way if you are not a member who has played alot before(to use the new echeck) would be CashExpress. Click on the CashExpress deposit method to learn about it. Once you decide that is what you want to do and you find a location you can go to, you fill out a form before you go the location. When you submit the deposit Pokerstars will give you a special code and instructions and what and what not to fill out on the form at the location you go to. No fee on PStars side, but the Walmart or wherever you go will charge a fee. Sounds more difficult then it is. Pretty simple.
  14. I just caught the replay on ESPN2.I've concluded this has to be a made for tv hand. There was a commercial break and when they comeback to go right to this hand. We dont see pre-flop or flop action, but when they break to this hand there is 9800 in the pot.Q5d vs J7dboard 5h 5c 8c 5sJ7d asks for chip count, Q5d has 13100, J7d bets 6500 Q5d callsriver 4dQ5d goes all-in for 6600 and puts his hands over his face J7d shakes his head, moans glances over at Q5d who has his hands completely over his face. J7d gives the speech "well I have to call" and calls. shakes his head at result, table mates
  15. Yes it was 6600. He asked for a chip count of quads stack on the turn, quads had 13100, Jack overbets huge to 6500, quads callriver quads goes all in for remaining 6600, J7d ponders like like is brutal, gives a speech calls 6600 with J7dBoard was 855 rainbow 5 on turn 4 on river, no flush possibleI would give a more detailed accurate description, but it was so bad i forgot to record it. gotta wait for replay.
