This is a really tough hand to analyze, the fact that he has position on you makes his hand range incredibly wide. It's hard to tell wether he has you beat on the turn, or is raising, hoping you're making continuation leads, to pick up the pot with some flush or straight outs to rely on if you actually have the overpair. It's scary just calling here with Queens out of position because the river will be your worst nightmare pretty often. With the river looking so innocent and it going check check, I am guessing he ended up having a hand like 10J, Ah Qh or Ac Qc, or even a monster draw like Ah Jh, Ac Jc. What'd he have?

I see, well, I don't like his raise on the turn much, other than that, I think his hand makes sense, i didnt realize he had limped in, and then called. His holding makes more sense now since he may have definitely open raised with some of the hands I put him as possibly having. If the river falls the same way, and he moves all in for the 100 more he has left, what are you doing?

Tell you the truth. The fact that he miniraised me let me to believe that he was just trying to blow me outta the pot.It was a real tough decision for me. And Im not sure what I woulda done if he had followed thru with a river bet.

start analyzing board texture, a lot more.obviously the turn decision isn't clear-cut at all in this hand, but i lean soooo much more towards calling.why?because the board is so draw-heavy.a lot of players semi-bluff in this spot. a lot of players have a pair and now they picked up a club draw on the turn.etc.if the board was really ragged, i would consider laying it down much more seriously, because of the real possibility of a set or two pair.aseem

From what I have seen at the $1/$2 level, most of the players will not lead out if they have a monster handIf KrazyKowboys had hit a straight on the turn, he probably would have smooth called and tried to trap you into betting again on the river.If he had 2 pair or trips, he would now be scared of the straight, and would be re-raising much more then the minimum.You made a very standard raise pre-flop out of position, so he is probably reading that you have two face cards in your hand. If this is the case, he thinks that you either have A/10 or are completely bluffing. Now there is a potential straight out there, so those are some serious scare cards. And the best way to represent a monster hand? The minimum re-raise. He's trying to get inside your head and make you fold your 'overcards'.
