KChu 0
i was playing the 200 wpt niagara satellite.. well unfourtunatley i was eliminated.'i wanted to discuss this hand w/ you guys see what u all thinkfirst off:sb:3kBB:2.2kutg:2.8kme:1.85kbutton:4k15/30 blindsfull tablePREFLOPutg: callsme:calls 3d3sbutton:callssb:callsbb:checksPOT:150FLOP: 9c 3h 8ssb,bb,utg checksto me: 150 pot, reason for this is to narrow down the field/maybe push out drawing handsbutton,sb foldsbb:callsutg:callsat this point i can probably put bb on JT or top pair or possibly 2 pair utg top pair or draw for sureTURN POT is 600 - 9c 3h 8s 6cbb,utg: checksme: bet 600, not since theres a flush draw as well as a straight draw i decided to bet 600 take it here if not make them pay 4 the drawbb:double raises me 2 1200utg folds'before calling i thought would he call me w/ 75 - 7T w/ a pot sized bet i think no so i put him on top pair w/draw OR two pairs and plus he has approx the same amount as meto me 600 more but i only have 1075 left so i decided to push all inand just calling makes the pot 2400he calls he turns over 75 for the straight.....i was like ouch cooler, do u think i made a total bad move or he just sucked out on me?well i did the math after the hand pot odds would be 2.23-1 = 31%and if i thought about it he could have been beating w/ a straight or a bigger set<--which i dont really think is highly likely for the setand if i knew he had a set my chances of winning are only 20% so i could have gotten away from the hand do u guys think i played it really poorly or its just a COOLER!THX
Flack_attack 0
You'll get better responses and more in-depth analysis in the strategy section. Post hands there. As for the hand it self, after your bet on the turn, your equity makes it hard for you to get away from the hand. Just sucks for you he hit a gushot. tripdeuces 0
For future reference posting the results hurts the discussion so please refrain from that in the future sir. Its a cooler my friend things happen.
rwood 0
bet 100 on the floppot would be 550 on the turnyou could throw out a 300 chip bet and if you get raised decide if you want to fold or not. with no reads you have to go with this hand IMO. you need your big hands to hold up in tourneys. i thinkk you need to rethink his range that he's c/ring you with on the turn. and what were you talking about the 20%
