  1. ok, everything makes sense here... I tougth about pushing all in in a check raise... but decided to bet pot and he pushed so... I folded here... I tougth I was maybe vs AQ,KQ or maybe a set and was not a big favorite here and was gambling for 1.5 buy in....he had 4-5 suited lol... would have been a big favorite here....well, guess my notes were not up to date on this player....at least he showed me....
  2. ok guys an interesting pot occured in my last hand of this session...Tell me what you would have done here....Nl texas holdem: 0.25-0.5Have A K I raise 2.50$ only one guy calls and he is in better position than me...flop: Q 8 3 I bet the pot (approx 6$) and the guy reraised all in!!!What you have to know:- I have approx 70$ at this time and he has 80$ so he has me covered and we are playing for more than one buy-in each...- I have a note on him that he is betting really hard is draws and his top pairsI won't say what happened... just give me your opinion about that and i'll give the hand
  3. Only betting 0.1 on a 0.3 pot is giving the odds for a flush draw... then you bet 0.5 on river now that there is a possibility to be beaten... just try to reverse the betting pattern... I mean, put the money while you are quite sure you have the best hand and relax while you are unsure of the out come...i would have made a 0.25-0.30 bet on turn making pay for the draw... and maybe check the river... if he bets not too much you call. otherwise, it,s the notes you have on him that should make the decision... When i know that a player try to push me all time there is a draw, then call...Well, the
  4. Ok guys, I have been struggling withQQ lately. Here is my problem: When there is a big raise (say from 4BB to 8 BB) preflop what you do with your QQ?? I know you have to know about the players, about your position etc... But here are my tougths: More than 33% there will be an ace or a King on the flop killing your QQ. If the flop comes rag, you still havve KK and AA on your mind. Folding QQ is really too tigth and reraising would commit you to the pot a lot more but would give you some infos (costly tough) so what would you do...I've been losing a lot vs KK and AA lately or been putting money
  5. Ill be honest with you guys, I do the exact opposit. I mean, i try to make the best possible decisions everytime but, I always take the results into consideration... That leads to my biggest weakness: Tilting!!! yep, tilting is the direct result of looking at the results and not at the decision you made...Honestly, how can you stay in control when in the same nigth, 3 sets, 2 straigths, 2 KK and AA got all outdrawn while you were min 70-30 favorite? What comes in my mind is: well it will take a lot of time to make all this money back... AND I MADE THE RIGTH DECISION!!!!! What will it be when i
  6. I must admit that i suffered a lot of bad beats on Fulltilt, but it,s just like on party poker or other sites.... Several bad beats in a row will happen on every sites... I must admit that the site has more and more fish playing around and that's why you see more and more bizarre things happening... I play a lot there and the avg pots are going bigger and bigger on cash games!!! I played 2 tables yesterday one at 35$ pot average and the other 55$ pot avg and im playing 0.5-1$ Nl!!! Meaning almost 40 BB per pot!!!!!!!! poeple are going crazy there and money is easier to make than ever...I would
  7. I would definitely raised you on the turn here... she knew you had a et cause you still bet even if you see all those hearts on board and she has the A and the K is on board so... SHE must puts you on a set and since you are surely potcommited.... she should have raised it...for the bad beat question... This is not a bad beat from my point of view... 10 outs is a lot too much to call that a bad beat... If you would have needed the runner runner absolutely to win, then it would be. I consider a bad beat when the other guy has only 3-4 outs ( only one card in the deck can save him...). Also, he
  8. Hi guys, I played a lot of Hu tourney since I posted and I'm up a lot. My record is 36-20 so far. I am 5-2 today, but I was suppose to lose 2 of them... Was down to 270 chips and... finnally won by a bad play, I was all in with A5 suited and the guy had 99 and I flopped an A...One thing i realized is that, heads up is hard for bad beats... I lost a lot of my heads up with big suckout, so if you tilt easily, dont go with HU tournies!!!Now I have some other questions for the good player heads up...W hat you do when you have a big bully in front of you and you dont catch anything at all??? I was
  9. I am reading harrington"s book now... seems really interesting, and since I'm a math guy, I really like to see how a hand that looks stronger is in fact weaker heads up!!!! Poker is strange is'nt it!!!By the way, thanks to evryone and there are what I made and the results of the situations...I have 2350 and my opponent has only 650 left, blinds are 50-100, so he has to make a move soon... I'm on BB he push all in and I'm looking to KJ unsuited... Do you call?I actually didnot called this one for 2 reasons... First, The guy was a pure rock and I was dominating him... I tougth there were no need
  10. Yeah, I do practice a lot, but I want also some advices to improve my game... I tougth this form of poker (heads up tournament) was more popular than that....any way, I need more advices guys!!!
  11. Perfect guy, the last 2 posts are what I'm wanting to see for advices... Big thanks guy...I'll be posting what I have done in few other post...keep posting guys, I need other advices!!!
  12. Serioously, it's a fasat way to make money when you are a real good player heads up.... I see guys nigth over nigth winning on fulltilt... they do approx 70%-75% winning and they play 2 heads up a time.... they do approx 4-6 heads up an hour... so lets say 10 each 2 hours... meaning approx 3.5-4 buy ins clear in their pocket each 2 hours or 2 buy in each hour. iy you play 10-20 buy in, that means 20-40 $ per hour.... and at higher stakes, seen guys doing approx 100$ per hour...so I think its a good way to make money when you dominate
  13. I have other questions, how do you handle poeple who are always folding while the blinds are low??? I do get them in beginning, but winning 10 pots only win 200 chips... and when they got something, they are able to take it back??? anyway I can really take advantage of it???continue to post guy....thanks
  14. A big thanks, by the way, Those are questions, but I'll post what I have done in each situation when I'll have more answwers and more advices... so I migth not be as passive as you think... Comon the other guys, I need more advices!!!! want an expert heads up player to talk here (give me an idea of your experience!!!)Big thanks to everyone!!!
