  1. Hellmuth is a tool and he played that hand as bad as possible. He lost the maximum and deserved it. He should quit bitching and go back to $5SNGs.That said, it was a little funny, especially how all night the whole table just jumped on him every hand. After the session : "What's his sn? I gotta put him on buddy list"
  2. While I do agree that Johnny Chan is an excellent player, I don't see how him taking 100k off an ameteur/recreational player who made an absolutely horrid play makes him that much more amazing.Nice shirt though.
  3. Variance happens to all players. Someitmes it's positive, sometimes negative. Take a few days off, drop down in limits, forget about results, don't let it tilt you, stick to your game/style. That is the most generic advice that you'll likely recieve.
  4. Anyone ever tried to eat a spoonful of cinnamon? I'm quite sure that it's impossible and much more painful than crackers.
  5. Just doubled up with nut flush vs top pair, im at about 3000 now
  6. He probably woulda called if you bet anyway
  7. I'm playing too; Capt.Unlucky at Table Maskau
  8. Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.Hey!! Hellmuth is the world heads up champion!
  9. The only raise here is a push. If you aren't comfortable with pushing here, I'd probably fold PF rather than limp. However, the hand did work out nicely for you after the flop. :-)
  10. You need to bet the flop. You want hands like AQ and AK and underpairs to fold here, and also it gives you more information about your opponents holding.I might call on this river though; you can beat a lot of hands now and even if you lose, you have enough chips to play an effective shortstack. However, folding is not a bad play either as you have plenty of chips remaining, and you can probably get your money in with more info and a bigger edge. Still, c-bet the flop though!
  11. I don't have a problem with what you posted, but I think you need to get your priorities straight. Do you play poker for fun and to make friends, or do you play for competition and for profit? If you feel comfortable not taking others money in a situation where it is possible, than clearly your winrate is not one of your priorities. And if you want a solid winrate, you probably need to stop being so friendly to others. It's also possible, I think, to find a balance between both sides where you can be talkative and competitive at the same time, maybe you need to find that balance
