  1. Wilderness- Calm the hell down man. No need to flip out over something that hardly affects you. It's not like one misplaced thread has ruined your day- or has it? Hmm...
  2. I've had the same deal myself. What I've done lately and I think is the best idea, is take a break. It sounds like you've gotten a little stressed over the bad beats and thus likely, whether you feel it or not, have gone on tilt. Being down that much can hurt your game.Try taking a break and look at the the objective as not getting your bankroll back to where it was, but rather focus on the individual pot or game. I also play some play money games to get a grip of what I'm doing wrong. It helps when your bankroll is not at stake and your not stressed. When you do bad keep track of the plays yo
  3. I noticed you guys are talking about NL play- I havn't played much in those tables and was wondering what the average bankroll is of your opponents? It just seems to me that $50 is a little low. Also, how would you compare the $5 or $10 tournaments to the games mentioned above? Which do you find to be the most difficult? Thanks
  4. Lol, no... havn't lost quite that much. I started with 45 dollars and spent it mostly on tournaments, which probably wasn't the best idea seeing has I hadn't played many to begin with. Before using real money I used the play money at pokeroom.com-I did poorly for a long while but here lately have been getting better. I went from 1g to about 12.Ever since going broke I've played two play money tournaments and won both. Anyone notice any differences in the way the games are played or the people who play them comparing cash and play money?
  5. Funny stuffBut I must say, it can be a little difficult to win a pot with people who do nothing but stay till the end. When that happens the skill goes out the window and simply becomes a game of luck. When your at a table of ten that makes nine people against you. You can almost guarantee they'll stay till the end. I guess all you can do is wait for premium hands, which takes hours to get anywhere, usually resulting with a bad beat in my case. That damned river, lol. Anyhow, best of luck to whoever started this post. I think I'll give live games a go next because online is a bitch.
  6. Same deal here; college student with no wins online. Tonight I played a $10 tournament and was up for a while as chip leader but then, like every time before, I catch a run of shitty hands. Most of my opponents bluff a lot but with no cards to call them on it's a waist.I've come to lean that bluffing before they do usually gets the bluffers out the pot. My bad beat of the night- Ak and get two pair on flop- all in vs a pair of A- he gets a third A on the river- bad beat? You betAnyhow, best of luck man, I'm about cashed out but will likely deposit more funds, think of it as your money going to
