When do you guys figure it's time to "cashout" from your bankroll? Is there a certain amount that you like to maintain, or do you just let it grow? Isn't the point to make money, thus cashing out and buying stuff? I was just wondering..

if you don't need the money cash out whenever you feel like it or after you reach a certain amount above your bankroll.
Right on, thanks.

Beware cashouts, though. If you don't need the money, you should cash out as little as possible, as you will want to attempt to move up in limits. It's best to leave as much as you possibly can in your roll.CT

My advice is to keep any money you don't absolutely need within your "bankroll" and as your game, and roll, improves use it to move up in limits. If you are playing limit poker never take out so much that you leave less than 300 big bets for your game though. Obviously emergency situations are an exception but dipping into your bankroll is a bad habit to develop.

Just to be safe I try to keep atleast half my b/r in Neteller, it's much easier to cash it back in (instant) than taking it out.And in the event that your account is frozen, which hasn't happened to me but it would really suck.

Me too. I personally cash 50%. If I go up $400 in a night. $200 goes to living and $200 stays in the roll.So I guess that means if I made it to daniels shoes (god knows I'm not....yet) on a night I play the big 4-8game and go up $300K or so. The next day my roll would be $150K healthier, and I'd have a new aston martin.
