  1. Well, in that case: I like your hair. Can't argue with that. Differing aesthetic sensibilities and all.
  2. I'm not saying anything, I'm silently pressing keys, you arrogant douche.
  3. I was thinking something more like, stand up for two seconds, turn away from the table, exchange a sentence or two with someone not playing the game. Just physically do something to take your focus off of what is happening. Ten seconds won't help if you are staring at the flop.
  4. I would say just get up and take a lap. A lot of pros will get physical when they are agitated, and I think that's better than just sitting on it. You let out that steam and come back calm and collected, it also physically separates you from the situation.
  5. But isn't that also true at lower buy-in tables for money? Do you think a lot of people start out playing for no money and that's what gets them into the paying sites online?
  6. To play poker for a living seems like it involves a lot of stamina. I mean, for every huge win there are those tiny payouts that you have to get to be self-sustaining. So I can see how that'd be a grind.
  7. I'm wondering if any of you online players ever play online poker when there is no money involved whatsoever. You know, like, yahoo poker and stuff like that. Does it ever feel good to play poker without really gambling anything? And, if you do play free games, do you find it significantly changes how people play? This can also apply to brick and mortar house games.p.s.: this is my first post. howdy.
