Cue 0
I logged on and got to play just before the contest closed.I started out strong by projecting a very tight aggressive image by showing all my winning hands to show I was not using a lot of bluffs. I then managed to change gears and took down a lot of pots by bluffing. I had run my $1000 up to about $4000 and was our table leader for quite some time. There were about 600 people logged into my session and I was number 120(?) when I busted out.I ended up short stacked when my AQ suited got beat by 22 with the board showing Q92A6 rainbow. With less then a $1000 left and my wife now home and wanting me to log off I decided to try and double up or bust out. Having position before the blinds ($30/$60) and only 1 caller I decided to go ALL-IN with A-10 suited and try to steal the blinds. Well I got one caller. The guy in big blind with 7-5 not suited and about $1600. HE waited and waited to call and called just before he would have been automatically folded.7-5 not suited... WTF???Well he busts me when he catches his 5 and I catch nothing. How does a guy call an ALL-In with 7-5 not suited. If I have an over pair to his cards he needs to hit two pair or trips to win. If both my cards are over his and I catch either then again he need 2 pair or trips. What is he thinking to make that call? This was actually my first ever experience with on line playing as I play only Ring games at the nearby Casino ($1/$2 NL) and I am not sure about the experience. One of the reasons I have avoided online play is because of all the horror stories about terrible bad beats.anyway just thought I would share.
