Was surprised to come across this video of the legendary rock group “The Doors” playing poker for money back in 1967 which was 3 years before the WSOP even began. They had such iconic hits as “Light My Fire” and “Riders on the Storm”.

Maybe if poker was as big back then as now, they would have spent less time doing drugs, and the Lizard King would still be with us.

...any projects in production?

Lol, Hollywood can’t even get Rounders 2 in production and Rounders 1 made 70 million in DVD sales and has a Hollywood A-lister (Matt Damon) who said a few years ago he wants to do it.

If the 3 time honored poker themed screenplay "Vegas Knights" is ever to get off the ground it’s going to need a rich poker/gambling enthusiast to put up the money and then go the independent film route. It seems all Hollywood is interested in is superhero/fantasy films that do well overseas or films with well known writers like Sorkin attached. Hollywood executives are scared to death to make any unusual decisions or take chances for fear of losing their jobs which is why we get so many sequels and crappy movies.
