Based on the cards that the other players were showing, you got really lucky here, as you played it pretty bad. You were drawing to very weak straights and a weak flush (not to mention the possible straight flush), as a lot of the cards you needed for your straight were already out. As well, some of your pair/trip cards were also out, further reducing you chances at winning this pot. The only thing you really had going was the flush (as no diamonds were evidenced in your opponents hands until fifth street) :-) , but it was a nine-high flush draw at the time (two other players had possible flush draws - one queen high, the other king high, fortunately they were both in the same suit). :-) I am happy for you that you won this pot :-) (I wouldn't have been had I been playing at the table at the time ), but playing like that will only hurt your bankroll in the long run. :cry: You need to be more aware of what cards you are up against, and bet/check/call/fold accordingly based on those cards, the pot odds, playing styles, etc. :wink: I'm no expert though, so maybe I am the one who is crazy :!:
