  1. So, a site I cant use, the most famous site in the poker world , and some guy talking about a bad beat story? Thats helpful?
  2. I just remembered why i never post here. Utterly useless trying to get any decent info out of you clowns. PACT? Huh? QFT?wtf?
  3. Whatever, Calvin Ayre and his great poker site and hot babes surrounding him at all times can suck it. Whot's next best after bodog then?
  4. Bodog no good. Im Canadian, and despite the fact the site was founded by a Canadian, we can't play there. Boooo. I even met Calvin Ayre once and asked him why. No good reason from what i can gather...
  5. Mostly an online cash game player, but want to work on my tourney chops. Best sites for MTTs? Looking for frequency, variety, good guarantees, and non-massive player pools (ie stars). I used to play lots of them at Golden Palace / Doyle's , but they pissed me off and Id rather not go back. Reccomendations?
  6. Last week I turned 150 into 1400 in two hours on 2/4NLHE. That was the start of a week-long rush that is showing no sign of slowing down. Said it before, say it again : 2/4NL is the softest game on the net IMHO.
  7. I will be all over the place, no where specific. I don't have a laptop, but i was considering buying a cheap one if its feasable. I mostly play Golden Palace Poker.. anyone know if it's playable at most net cafes?
  8. Anyone have any experience in this department? I won't be playing much, mostly traveling, but was wondering about access to wireless internet as well is cafes. Looking to make a few extra bucks for some massages, if you knowwhatimsayin. Will cafes let you download software to play? Ive heard stories of people who sit on the beach and play all day, anyone done this? Thanks in advance.
  9. I just ordered Harrington's latest this morning. anyone read it? Im a little worried that there wont be much new info in there since it's billed as a workbook. any advance reviews would be great. yo.
  10. yeah, i know in the big picture i am up and thats my only solace really. i never said i went broke... i only said im running shockingly bad and i know its affected my game big time. The goal is NOT to go broke, to goal is to play well and be profitable, which I am not right now. with the way im playing - no confidence, etc - im wondering if it is really a good idea to reload a thousand of that, or just rebuild like i did before.
  11. Out of my bankroll? Perhaps. Out of my league? No. ok, fair enough... maybe im playing a bit over my head bankroll wise. but that doesn't explain everything does it? i mean, for the last two years my style has served me just fine... and now its my major problem? i dunno, doesn't add up to me, but im trying to stay open minded about it. and how does that explain my poor live results and the fact that im now a fish in the $5sng game?btw royal, nice blog.. got a few chuckles for sure.
  12. No, i cashed out about $4k from the win, and left the balance in my account, which is now gone. i may be playing poorly, but I aint that stupid.
  13. So after building and playing wery well for most of the last 4 months, culminating in a 5k mtt win, I have officially gone on the crapper. No matter what i try, what game i play, i lose. Bad beats, bad play, bad attitude, you name it. Even the home game i usually frequent and crush (man, we talkin' about practice!) has become barren. All my online accounts have dried up (i havent put a i cent in in almost a year now), and my confidence is totally shot.. i cant even beat a $5 sng... i am taking some time off. i am re-reading Harrington's books. I am trying watching friends play and going over m
  14. Thanks... I think the main thing I got is that its mostly for higher stakes games than I am playing, which is mostly 1/2NL & 2/4 NLHE. I agree, it's mostly a question of style. NOt so much doing what he says to do, but incorporating a few of the moves into my regular tight/aggr. style. Hopefully, it'll work out similar to what happened after i read Harrington on Holdem. I was doing pretty good in tournaments, then i read that and i sucked for about two months with virtually no cashes... eventually i learned not to take everything he said so literally and just work some of the advice in. s
  15. OK, money won in the last 3 months BEFORE reading supersystem 2 : $5000. money won SINCE reading Supersystem 2 (last week): -$3000.anyone have any explanations for this? Ive been taking some pretty bad beats, but that cant be everything...
