  1. Thanks Tim, I think you're right.I got tilted by another poster's response to something I said in another thread and it really got me to think about why I play poker.I started playing because it's so much fun. I like competition, especially mental competition. When I first started playing, I was losing... badly. And that was unacceptable. So I studied and practiced as often as possible and became a winning player. After I actually won some money, I figured I could make A LOT of money, which led to my disgust in playing the $10 SNGs. Not much money there. Plus, I wasn't enjoying it, just t
  2. Thank you for your insight, fckthis. It actually got my head straight about a dilemma I've been having lately. It's not that I'm a fan of winning money, it's that I'm a fan of winning. Period.Actuary, you said you have thoughts on your posted situation. I'd love to read them.

But, I've taken a shot at many of the $50 SNGs and have absolutely destroyed that level.Point being, I am having a hard time at the $10 level now, as the money involved just seems meaningless. I can't seem to play more than one before I get bored and star
  5. Thanks TimIn retrospect, the open push with AJ wasn't the best play. I could've easily gotten away from that hand. Again, I won't make that mistake next time. Thanks for railing.
  6. Out in 36th place. Had to push with A8, chipleader made his straight.I cashed, so I'm happy.
  7. Thanks...Made a mistake with that QJ. won't happen again
