Trump just said on Fox & Friends of Cohen: “Michael would represent me, and represent me on some things. He represents me— like with this crazy Stormy Daniels deal, he represented me."

Dude is getting outmaneuvered by a porn star... anyone still think he holds a candle to the Chinese or North Korea?

I see your Rather and raise you Sean Hannity who apparently is in the TrumpCo entourage. There's bias and then there's gone off the deep and making up stuff.

I don't do Cable which is 95% BS and I don't listen to Sean Hannity. But I will play your little game, I see you Sean Hannity and raise you Homophobe Joy Reed.

Uh... Obamacare had 18-months of hearings before being passed. The GOP repeat and not replace had ONE DAY of actually being in the hands of Senators.

What does this have to do with what I was posting about. The subverting our democracy with lies and not even voting on the Iran deal in the Senate.

Let's do this, you do a summary on how Obamacare came about and then I'll do a summary.

Nice strawman on 20? year old statements; but no way you can be on #teamevangelical and give two shits about GLTBs.

The subverting our democracy with lies and not even voting on the Iran deal in the Senate.

You seem to have absolutely no issue with mass gaslighting that the WH is doing... or the dismantling of the US government though Executive Orders, not through votes. And that affects every single citizen way more than some nation halfway around the world.

How can you be so outraged by what the other party did when you seem to be unable to examine your own party with a fraction of the intensity?

How dare the Democrats implement a health care plan that was thought up by a Republican think tank and implemented by a Republican governor. Shameful abuse I tell ya! .s (Rather petty obstructionism from the GoP).

Rudy and Hannity helping Trump

One of the nation’s top election lawyers thinks Rudy pled Trump guilty to a campaign finance law violation. Oops.

My new one @slate: Rudy Giuliani may have just implicated President Trump in serious campaign finance violations: https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2018/05/rudy-giuliani-may-have-just-implicated-president-trump-in-serious-campaign-finance-violations.html?wpsrc=sh_all_dt_tw_ru … via @slate

Rudy and Hannity helping Trump

One of the nation’s top election lawyers thinks Rudy pled Trump guilty to a campaign finance law violation. Oops.

Well they are trying to spin that the money comes from personal sources and not campaign money; thus being in the clear. But... "The issue is not whether $$ came FROM the campaign. It’s whether the payment to silence Stormy amounted to a secret contribution TO the campaign."

"Here's a fun fact: campaign finance law violations over $25k are felonies. The in kind contribution of $130k to Stormy Daniels was over that line. The reimbursement constitutes a separate crime of covering up the true source of a contribution. Also likely banking law violations." - Ted Liu

And if you don't think this payoff was meaningful to the campaign:

"Imagine if that came out on October 15, 2016, in the middle of the last debate with Hillary Clinton." - Giuliani

Now... if this mess ever comes to court this kind of details would be good to show character but on it's own not enough to go after the current administration while still in power.

So Trump repealed the Iran deal making the world potentially a much less safe place. And before you go all MAGA what concrete benefits of doing so... and keep in mind the pending negotiations for North Korea which is apparently the greatest thing since sliced bread.

It's not less safe. lol.

The Iranian president said in a statement, "We will begin enriching more uranium than before". Wait. I thought they said they were never enriching uranium. These countries aren't going to follow any treaty they think is making them the little brother. Never have, never will. It was just a tax on America for no reason.

Yes, they had a nuclear program and the current deal was the answer to that. It isn't perfect but it serves it's purpose. Trump has no plan for what comes next.

What the hell are you talking about tax on America ?

Oh and just remember that Trump's move is brought to you by the same people who lied about Saddam having WMD's in Iraq and led to the worst decision in US foreign policy ever, the Iraq War. I'm talking about Netanyahu and Bolton by the way.

The Israeli intelligence leadership and the leadership of the IDF both past and present think Trump is making a mistake and making things less safe.

How could you possibly know such a thing?

Listen, I think Trump is foolish in a lot of ways. I'm not happy that he seemingly doesn't understand people or how to communicate effectively, but for you to make declarations about what he does and doesn't think or does or doesn't have planned makes you look just as bad as him.

because every report from inside the US and from American Allies says that the US has no plan other than to get a "better" deal whatever that means.

I mean if you have any ability to judge people (or if you are paying attention at all) and you think Trump is a thinker who plans things you might have a problem with your ability to read things.

I'm editing this post because I have no reason to speak so negatively in this forum, and I apologize.

However, my previous post could be edited to just say that hearsay through anonymous sources should not be considered fact.

Read the State Department briefing they did. It's clear from that there is little plan forward.

I think part of the issue is whether you trust journalism or not. While the people they are talking to off the record or on background aren't made known to us they are known to the reporters and editors and in most cases they use multiple sources before reporting.

A mere 72 hours after the Chinese government agreed to put a half-billion dollars into an Indonesian project that will personally enrich Donald Trump, the president ordered a bailout for a Chinese-government-owned cellphone maker.

It's even more ****ed than that.

1. ZTE was essentially blocked out of the NA market as it is a telecom company run by the Chinese government and arguably their products are highly stolen from western teleco companies (down the spelling mistakes in UIs)

2. ZTE was caught circumventing the embargo in Iran which resulted in US companies not being able to supply them.

3. Trump levies tariffs against China because of #1

4. Trump decides that sanctions are a good thing for Iran but to not actually enforce it?

Look either Trump (who can barely string a sentence together) is playing 6-degree chess / Mohammad Ali / Sun Tzu-reincarnate or he's a drunken sailor stumbling from shake down attempt to shake down attempt.

bonus fact: when the EY want to keep the Iran deal in place Bolton says "it's possible the US is going to sanction its allies...". The same Bolton was around when we didn't trust inspectors in Iraq that they didn't have WMDs.

Liberal media’s coverage of the new embassy in Jerusalem is really rustling my jimmies. I mean it has me heated up to see people siding with terrorists over Israel. I didn’t think I’d ever care about current affairs like this.

It's pretty surprising that so many people are telling Israel where their capital can and cannot be. I really don't understand how that works with people that think we shouldn't intervene in other country's affairs. But I'm sure some people in this very thread will tell us exactly why we are bigots for thinking that.

the anti-isreal bias is purely a product of trump derangement syndrome. If Obama had done this it would have been hailed by the left as a great symbol of freedom. it's pathetic all the way around by once reputable news outlets like the failing new york times.

https://www.bustle.com/p/this-rex-tillerson-speech-on-resisting-alternative-realities-sounds-like-the-ultimate-jab-at-trump-9114412

He may not have any affiliation with the White House anymore, but former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson might've trolled Trump pretty hard during a Virginia Military Institute commencement speech. Tillerson was speaking to soon-to-be-graduates at the time, and he certainly didn't mince his words. He may not have referenced President Trump or any of his aides explicitly, but he could've been speaking in reference to the Trump administration when he warned against the dangers of perpetuating false truth in a society.

During the speech, Tillerson spoke of the importance of reinforcing the sanctity of truth within American society, CNN reports. "If our leaders seek to conceal the truth," Tillerson proclaimed, "[Or if] we as people become accepting of alternative realities that are no longer grounded in facts, then we as American citizens are on a pathway to relinquishing our freedom."

Tillerson didn't stop there. He continued to remark upon "a growing crisis in ethics and integrity," NBC News reports, adding, "[if] we the People go wobbly on the truth...we go wobbly on America."
