Zach6668 513 Posted March 27, 2018 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Finals preview/prediction: Assumptions: Stone and Anderson out for the series for the Shortstackers, Smith, Johansson, Klefbom out for the series for Canadian Gothic. Games 1 and 2 cancel each other out. Stackers have a decent edge in Game 1 (0.854), but the Gothic come back with a similar edge in Game 2 (0.669). Games 3, 4, and 5 feature a 0.225 to 0.273 edge for the Stackers. This is very close to a coinflip. Game 6 is the most lopsided game of the series. The Shortstackers have an edge of 1.239. Game 7, if we get there, favors the Gothic (0.578). If Johansson/Smith both return later in the series, games 4 and give become almost perfect coin flips (0.004 and 0.031) while the Gothic's edge expands for game 7. So, the way I see it, the first two games are likely to be a split, let's give the Stackers 2 of games 3, 4, and 5, which are somewhat close, but the Stack holds the edge, and let's give the Stackers game 6 because of their big edge. Prediction is Shortstackers in 6. But if things go bad, and it goes 7, Gothic would be the favorite. Link to post Share on other sites
