Been toying around some more about what I think my roster may look like over the next few years, focusing on next season, and what I'll look like going into the auction.   It's very likely that I'm

I can't beleive Collberg bombed. Bozon, ok. He had potential but then almost died from meningitis.

My whole 2012 draft sucked. Hudon and Dumba the only players I have left? Reilly got me Hertl and Scheifele though.

I hate 4 for 1's, if Im giving up the 1. And I love Scheifele, Im prob biased.

note the date in above.

Really wish I had had the balls to predict a points number for him.

Him I got right. SOoooo many others I got wrong. (I'm looking right at you, Ryan Murphy!!)

Was so confused how you had Scheifele in the ahl. But I see it’s the F

I'm pretty sure the Stackers won tonight. On quite a heater at the moment. 15-2 in the last 17 games.

Actually, my record is kind of interesting, from a random pattern point of view.

In order:

1 game win streak, lose three

2 game win streak, lose one

3 game win streak, lose two

4 game win streak, lose one

5 game win streak, lose one

6 game win streak, ... (guessing I lose on Tuesday to keep this pattern going!)

Daniel posted boasting about the number of farm players he had in Corey Pronman's top 50. He had 6 (nos. 27, 29, 34, 40, 44, 49) plus 3 honorable mentions.

The Shortstackers are proud to announce their own inclusion in the top 50 with 5 farm players plus 1 honorable mention (and an additional honorable mention who was just traded today). Though I have fewer players represented than the Thieves, the Stackers have 3 players ranking higher than anyone on the Thieves and one player ranking higher than all but 1.

PLUS, the Shortstackers are 2 points out of first in the AHL. Oh, and the #3 player on Pronman's pre-season ranking (Barzal) has graduated into a point per game player in the NHL and will be a big addition to the Stackers' playoff roster. (Oh, and the #35 (Girard) and #71 (Milano) also both graduating off of Pronman's pre-season rankings, both ready to pitch in during the playoffs.)

It really makes me feel like my team is set up well for the present AND the future.

16. Adam Fox - D - CGY

17. Nick Suzuki - F - VGK

21. Kristian Vesalalinen - F - WPG

28. Oliver Kylington - D - CGY

50. Patrick Harper - F - NSH

HM. Mathieu Joseph - F - TBL

HM. Jake Bean - D - CAR traded

Is Pronman's list behind a paywall?

Yeah.

For you, I see Vaakanainen and Greenway as an honorable mentions. Nobody in the top 5. (Your best prospects are clearly already in the NHL - Heinon, Kerfoot, Labanc..., so not eligible for this list.)

Couple things:

1. Pronman doesn't rank prospects based on fantasy value.

2. I will have two top 5 picks in this years draft. Possibly could end up with #1 and #2 overall

3. I expect to have even more players in the top 50 prospects next season and hopefully more than 2 in the top 10.

one thing that Pronman has talked about is that he's changed over the years and now factors raw skills into his rankings more which I think makes his rankings more fantasy relevant than in the past.

Big M's are 6 and 7 by the way in his rankings.

My game 1 lineup is rough.

Barzal

Stone

Kuznetsov

Toffoli

Hudon

Vesey

Goligoski

Keith

Holden

Benn

(and if one of those last two D doesn't play, I can replace them with Juulsen, if he plays).

Toronto goalies... if they play (outdoor game)?

I consider any lineup terrible if I have to dip into my sub 0.300 players...

It's also looking like Hudon is hurt. Luckily I have Adam Erne on Tampa playing games. That's an easy swap, though a downgrade.

Jordie Benn is a healthy scratch tonight, so may not be playing tomorrow either. Noah Juulsen is my only available replacement and I don't think he has an NHL point yet. (And is also at risk of being scratched.)

The Shortstackers, by way of miracle, have advances to the final four. This is the deepest this team has been under my ownership. These are very exciting times.

Stackers vs Swackers for the trip to the final.

Full analysis to come.

MacKinnon, Barzal, Kuznetsov available for 6 of 7 games in the semi-finals, and Barkov for 5 of 7. Those are my top 4 forwards with a total of 23 of 28 top 4 forward slots covered.
