It's a measure of consistency among forwards, defense, and goalies, with forwards obviously carrying more weight. People have scoffed at the Power Rankings but having a balanced team when we have a lot of short games nights gives a team more ways to win. Either a solid goalie performance or some help from the defense. Teams that rely solely on forwards might be powerhouses some nights and put up big numbers, but won't get as many wins as the team who can consistently put up a 3 spot.
