Sun Sep 03, 2017 To Shooters: Matt Duchene - F - COL $9.25 To Big M's: Swackers 2nd round pick in 2017 which is the 35th pick overall. Bob chose D - Victor Mete - MTL with the pick. I can go back and read our messages, and see whats true and what isnt. I would suggest you go back and read them too, and see how often you came back to me for Skjei, asking what I want to do with him, asking what I wanted for him, long after I had already told you the fwds I wanted from you. Oct 4th I told you who I wanted. Like if you believes Skjei was going to post a 70 point season in 3 years, then it's a steal. If you think he is going to top out at 40 points than you gave up too much. What is the sweet spot? If Skjei puts up 55-60 in two years would people think differently about the trade? Point being, when trades are made they are based on owners assessing that talent and it's upside. Same with every pick we make. We pay the price we think the player is worth, so maybe WC does think he has really big upside to be a top 3 dman. I disagree and think Whalers won this trade, but it's not impossible to come up with a reasoning as to why this trade would happen. Link to post Share on other sites

Dale and Ortenzio are the same..Having said that , whenever you offer me a trade I have to be very careful because you are too smart. I will bet you anything that our trade in the other pool works out in your favour by a significant margin. I totally screwed up that one, I forgot rules were changed and that we start 2 goalies now. I could have kept Bobrovsky. (for others, I gave up Bobrovsky for McKinnon, but Mck only has this year left and Bob has 4. In all these years, I truly think I have been nothing but understanding and kind with you, both in person and online. You chose to make it personal, calling me out on something I posted on here about a hockey trade of all things, and now name calling over a joke about a different hockey pool, like as if we are in high school and not grown men. All over a hockey pool that all of 20 people in this world care about. 20. Thats it, thats all. No one else gives a **** about Skjei/Voracek/whatever. for others who will read this, and whose opinions I respect, I want you to know I took the conversation private and my first words were to apologize to him for anything I may have done or said, as the last thing I wanted was a personal beef with someone I consider a friend. I like to be the guy in these situations who tries to end an argument and if that means I lower myself to be the one apologizing in a situation where I'm not even sure I did anything wrong, better to take that road and try to choose kindness over anger. I hate people who always try to be the tough guy, and I don't care if I look "weak". That is someone else's problem, I'm good with being kind, within reason and without being walked all over. I'm trying harder in my life to find the route to take that shows kindness over anger+belittling others. (sorry for the personal rant, thats just how I see things) I'm through with this stuff, its taken an absolutely ridiculous turn and I really dont have time or energy for this kind of bull. So in reality I was just trying to help you get your feelings out in a more succinct way but you kind of lost it. If you feel like you can't or won't proofread because of whatever reasons you have then you should never get upset when you get called out on it. Especially when you're attacking someone who clearly didn't deserve the incoherent insults you were trying to type out. Either way you should grow thicker skin if you're going to purposely act like this. So yeah, good talk. I don't know what other pools we've been in other than 1 but sure.
