Rest of the pool got clobbered last week so my panic level to double up each week has diminished. Going a little lighter this week since most of the lines I was interested in moved the wrong way (jets +3.5 to +3, Chargers +1 to -2, Chiefs -6.5 to -7). I was hoping the cowboys would drop to -5.5, in which case I was probably betting heavily on that, but less interested at -6. Cincinnati -3.5 $6,300 Cleveland pk $100 Houston +1 $100 Dallas -2 $100 new balance: $12,600 up to 22nd in the pool out of 87 remaining players. Leader is at $50,000, 2nd place at $29,000. I think I'm going to bet most of my roll again this week to try to get within striking distance of the leaders. The leader was at 30k last week and made a pretty big jump. If he is aggressive again, he could get out of reach pretty quick. I'll probably bet 10k on 1 game and if I lose, try to rebuild again. Link to post Share on other sites

I'm in a 3-strkes survivor pool for NHL this year where you pick one team each week and when you lose 3 times you are out. Regular survivor rules apply (can only pick each team once). I am already 0 for 2 thanks to the avalanche. Picked NYR at home vs. COL in week 1 and Boston at home vs. COL in week 2. Unfortunately, 1st place is pulling away a bit, he is up to $75,000. current standings: 1st: $75,000 2nd: $29,000 3rd: $28,000 (Devan) 4th: $25,200 (me) 5th: $19,100 there are 18 other people between 10k-19k. top 5 people get paid but I think it's too early to take that into consideration. I'm going to stay aggressive this week and try to reel in the top guy a bit.
