One that may be able to do this automatically? I know I'm going to sound like a dick, but the page on the website says it hasn't been updated since October 7th. Even without a new website, we can devise a new way of doing things so this stuff can either be done in such a way that it doesn't take so much apparent time/effort for Bob to do, and we can get an update more than once a year. I run a fantasy league and also have a full time job and am generally extremely lazy. Our draft picks/cash are basically updated within a week or so of a transaction when I'm at my laziest and it's easily accessible to all league members in a Google Sheet instead of hidden on Bob's computer. That's fair, but it's useful to know other situations as well. I don't know. It can be better. Not a knock on Bob, but there's got to be a way that is more user friendly. Hopefully the new website, if it's still in play, fixes it, otherwise we can streamline some of these operations, IMO. Link to post Share on other sites

The Saturday is a no go for Daniel and not a good day for me. I've been reaching out to people the last hour trying to find out any potential issues. I would want to start as early as possible taking into account people's work and travel schedule so please get back to me as soon as you can if you think you have a preference for start time. For example somebody may already have plans for that evening while somebody else can't start until a specific time because of work or coming in from out of town. Link to post Share on other sites

But the most fun ones in my memory have been the ones downtown. (Or the one? Lol) Just sucks for me because I have tickets to Bill Burr that night, so I'll have to leave at like 5:30 or 6:00, if I make it at all. Link to post Share on other sites

Hey all, I wish I had good news but I don't think it will be completed in time to use this season. We have made good progress but the back end developer is a senior at his company and is doing this as a nixer in his spare time... which is never and I have three kids all under 10... so ... yeah... there it is... A lot of the architecture, login system, database and security is in place. What is taking an unusual amount of time and back and forth is the UX and logic of the whole thing. If it doesn't all play together then there is no point right? Anyways, that's the update, sorry it isn't better news. We'll get there and it will be ****ing amazing when we do. ps: did I mention the Developer is from Ireland and a professional Fencer (the stabbing type, not the backyard type)... which means he knows nothing about Hockey... as if it wasn't challenging enough already. 2 Link to post Share on other sites
