I don't know much about Parks and Rec, it's a show I've been meanin to get into for quite a while, but I'd be surprised if Louis CK became a recurring character on any sitcom. Although, he does like money...

I didn't get into the show until the end of last year, but it's been amazing since then. And also, Louis was on earlier episodes (so I hear). So he won't be a regular character, but recurring is certainly possible. You should definitely watch though. It's close to the best of network comedy.

Yeah Louis appeared in (checks imdb) five previous episodes of Parks & Rec, but he never had as big a role in an episode as he did last week, from what I recall. Anyway, he was hilarious last week. I'd actually forgotten that it was him who had played that role, cuz it was (checks imdb) back in 2009 and was a fairly small part.

I watched the Parks and Recreation pilot and found it pretty awful. I don't like the way they've basically taken the Office concept (mockumentary with a self-centred moron boss). Most of the jokes were pretty obvious and not particularly amusing.I don't like Rashida Jones in it either - she is the same character in everything she does and I am tired of it. She is just the boring, uptight, sarcastic but attractive girl. I actually liked her the first time she played this character, but now I am sick of it. I'm fairly sure they even have her wear the exact same outfits in every movie/show she is in.

best comedy on tv. top ten comedy all time now.

I agree with this sentiment. The first season was cringe-worthy, but since season 2 it has been perfect. Better than The Office at their respect peaks, better overall body of work.

After years of people telling me to watch this show I finally decided to give it a chance. My only regret is that i waited so long.

Season 1 started off a little slow, but I've breezed through all of Season 2 already.

You should start at the beginning, but it really picks up at the end of season 1, beginning of season 2.If you skip any of season 1 though, you will miss Ron Swanson awesomeness.

Jesus, it really took me this long???
