That doesn't count Barret's spending and all the other spending on the Dem side from out of state. Walker's total does.Did you use your special libertarian filter? If you spend more money then you shouldn't 'really' win.It sure helps that all those Wisconsin voters who wanted to vote out Walker could be bought by commercials. If only there weren't so many commercials then Walker would have been kicked out! Balloon guy 158 Posted June 8, 2012 Share Posted June 8, 2012 The democrats thought this was a huge deal after he started going through with his promises to take on the unions.So did Occupy and the national unions.Then when it was found to be a losing deal, everyone on the left is acting like they never really cared.A republican governor just took collective bargaining rights away from public service unions in his state. I laughed out loud when he told everyone making over $100k to leave...and there were only 3 people left. The rest of it just mad me sad for Americans. If I lived in the US, I don't think I'd have any choice but to be a libertarian. Not because libertarians are right, but because the state of politics and political discourse is so awful and beyond repair that my only hope would be to support anyone who would make it less a part of my life. He ended up with more votes than the first time, by a lot. The OVERWHELMING reason given by people on the ground here is WI is because of the union situation. If a random liberal judge throws it out, it's just going to solidify everyone even more. I mean, there is almost no way that WI is going Obama anyway, because everyone up here seems to like Paul Ryan (I see his name on signs all over the place and I don't even know the name of the person running against him*). But this will bring out the Walker and Ryan people in full force as a '**** you' to that judge. *He's concurrently running for Congress and VP. I'm talking Congressionally. In his previous race he won by 5.8%, in the recall he won by 7%. That's a lot of votes, considering 2.5 million people voted.
