President Obama ordered the cabinet to cut $100,000,000.00 ($100 million) from the $3,500,000,000,000.00 ($3.5 trillion) federal budget.   I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to

So, is calling the President "gay" being biased for him, or against him?

Jesus H. Christ that's an actual cover?? I...don't even know. Newsweek totally just called him gay, which is hilarious. What about the Time cover where a kid is sucking his boob? At this point I'd only be mildly surprised. Somehow The New Yorker's cover is less facetious than goddam Newsweek's. page0000001_4.jpg?v=v84

I'm also interested in hearing the answer to this. Here we have two resident Repubs, using an example of media bias that is helpful to Republicans (surely this is more likely to entrench the view of a Republican than alter the view of a democrat or independent right?) by arguing for a media bias. And yet, when it is a liberal bias in the media (often), we hear about the liberal bias. So, sometimes we have a liberal bias, and sometimes just a bias. Never a repub bias?

Warning: The bolded word may imply that I'm actually interested in hearing the answer to my question, which I'm not.

look at this way the next black president will not have a hard time raising the bar on best minority to hold the oval office...the link says so much about our media and the worthlessness of how and what they report.

Looks like He's still re-writing history.

...shows Obama’s habit of rewriting history. Obama popped up in every single presidential biography since Coolidge, adding fun facts about his efforts to one-up our previous commanders-in-chief. Some examples:

* “On Feb. 22, 1924, Calvin Coolidge became the first president to make a public radio address to the American people. President Coolidge later helped create the Federal Radio Commission, which has now evolved to become the Federal Communications Commission. President Obama became the first president to hold virtual gatherings and town halls using Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.”

* “In a 1946 letter to the National Urban League, President Truman wrote that the government has ‘an obligation to see that the civil rights of every citizen are fully and equally protected.’ He ended racial segregation in civil service and the armed forces in 1948. Today, the Obama administration continues to strive toward upholding the civil rights of its citizens, repealing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, allowing people of all sexual orientations to serve openly in our armed forces.”

* “President Lyndon Johnson signed Medicare into law in 1965 — providing millions of elderly health-care stability. President Obama’s historic health-care reform law, the Affordable Care Act, strengthens Medicare, offers eligible seniors a range of preventive services with no cost-sharing, and provides discounts on drugs when in the coverage gap known as the ‘donut hole.’ ”

* “On August 14, 1935, President Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act. Today, the Obama administration continues to protect seniors and ensure Social Security will be there for future generations.”

* “In a June 28, 1985 speech, Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with the Buffett Rule.

Man the arrogance on this person is getting embarrassing...

So hes either an illegitimate president, or an oppurtunistic liar and fraud?
phlegm was once engaged to a mountain lion, had sex with three underage alians, did not declare a $500,000 racetrack win on his taxes (later blown on hookers and blow) and cried when he stuck in an elevator. There, now someone else has also written something about you that may or may not be true, and does not source any of its information.

So the democrat convention will be in an arena, with the final night in an outside stadium...during September...the busiest hurricane month in the year.

What is the busiest month in the US for major hurricane hits?

By far, September has it; 36 of the 64 major hurricanes hit in September. The next busiest month the August, with only 15.

In Charlotte North Carolina. It could be fun.

That's not slowest spending, that's slowest spending growth. The actual numbers are controversial, but I don't care if the spending is assigned to Idiot 1 or Idiot 2. The point, in case everyone has missed it, is that the government continues to grow faster than the economy. After a horrible record like Bush, there was only one sensible thing to do, and that was to roll it back. Obama continued the insanity and added his own insanity. "Not being as bad as Bush" is hardly a standard anyone should aspire to.The other thing not captured is deficits, which are an equally big problem right now. But OK, Obama was only a little bit worse than Bush, compared to most presidents who are slightly more bad than their predecessor. Celebration!
