LOLOL. I was gonna mention the baseball to the head and over the wall thing, Adam just beat me to it. I wonder the same thing about his twitter stuff....is this a con? Is he really that stupid? Its not even just being stupid, its a little bizarre, and sounds like he's hallucinating.I met him once, in like '93/'94?, at a club in Miami. Actually, we talked to his twin brother Ozzie, who I shared a mutual friend with, while Jose had a bunch of women+gangsters around him. Ozzie sounded pretty dumb too. But Jose ruled that place, everyone wanted a piece of him, and I barely got to say hi to him. stupid internet question: re: twitterOn my IPad, there is a way of clicking on "mentions" and seeing people's tweets to a particular person. I dont see this "mentions" when I log into twitter on my comp. How do I see a person's tweets directed at them by the masses? (believe it or not, this is work related!)

Sometimes, its not about how many people follow you, but who wants to follow you. Its about the quality, not just the quantity.   You have a new follower request on Twitter: Men of Sapphir

I would guess most players aren't that involved. They likely give their agent a list of priorities and the agent tries to get the best contract possible.   The agent relays the info to the player an

I'm bringing my Twitter into the real life world.   First day of class today, I sit near the front since I'm a nerd, while we're waiting to begin, prof asks my name, I say Zach... "last name?" Hende

That's always such a dumb argument. It's not like he CAN'T kill penalties, he just has a finite amount of ice time per game and they choose to use it in more offensive situations. In any event, he'll win, and I hope Karlsson wins the Norris as well.

I don't think the argument is that he can't, it's that he doesn't. If you think killing penalties is super valuable to your team, then you have to take that into consideration. If you had two players really close offensively and defensively, but one guy kills penalties and the other guy doesn't, it would seem one guy is more valuable. I obviously don't know enough about hockey to actually argue who should be MVP, but it doesn't sound like a dumb argument in theory.

Toronto typical RT @SensReporter Douchey Leaf fan just rainbowed a full beer from the 300s down to the 100s

Every game a Montreal or Toronto fan has to throw a beer in Scotiabank... never fans of the 27 other teams...

You'd be surprised... there's a lot of french 20-something bandwagon Pittsburgh fans, Boston still has a strong following, Vancouver had a decent # of fans. I guess for some of these teams though ppl are more likely to be older/white collar (govt) and not busloads of ass$$#s.

I've told the story before. I've been to leaf games in Montreal, Buffalo, Philadelphia and Ottawa

All times worn a Leafs jersey. All times cheering respectfully when Leafs score. Only in Ottawa was I treated bad. Rude and bordering harassment. All other cities welcomed us. Friendly ribbing but overall fun. Only in Ottawa were the people all assholes. All rude. All classless. I m very close to raising Ottawa over Montreal as number one enemy.

On second thought they aren't worth it. At leat Montreal has history. Montreal has classy and knowledgeable fans. Ottawa is a piece of crap franchise.
