Age 17 for both. I just seem to have been really lucky with that hand when I'm running bluffs with it I seem to flop two pair or better A LOT!

Average player by definition would be 9-1. Above average player probably not any better than 4.5-1.

Do you back anyone? Do you think there is decent money to be made from backing players? Do you ever buy pieces of players?Estimate your ROI in EPT Monte Carlo €25k/€100kEstimate your ROI in WSOP MEIf

Hypothetical: two players of equal strength play heads up:Player A always has aces (but only gets two cards.)Player B gets four cards (but two aces are out of the deck.)Who's the favorite.
I like this question. fun, simple, yet hard at the same time lol... I would think 4 cards would be the favourite but its just a hunch.

Daniel,I am a amateur poker player from Florida. I am looking for a poker playing destination trip in November or December. I was thinking about Southern Europe or south America to play some EPT or LAPT events. In your opinion, what are the must hit spots? Thanks for taking the time. Johnny

Daniel just to bring out the stat geek in you: How do you feel about the win stats available to pokerfans and players? For example, you go to hendon mob and see someone like Mike Matusow made x amount playing tournaments and your first thought is 'Wow, if someone like Mike can make x amount in a tournament it must be really easy right?' :club: They're very deceptive numbers to me, what do you think? To make them less deceptive and frankly more accurate, I would suggest they include more ROI numbers and factor in the loss of buy-ins, hotels, travel etc. especially if you add in all of the massive buy-ins that have been popping up everywhere for the past few years. Do you think these more "personal stats" should remain off limits a la cash game wins and losses or should they be made available somehow? My main point is that a majority of tournament players have not actually earned (or at least held onto) these 8,9,10million dollars in "tournament winnings" that they're being given credit for (unless they've had an all-star sponsor like pokerstars.com LOL). In lamens terms Michael Mizrachi won like 3 million at the WSOP a couple of years ago. He was staked by Patrik Atonius but all of the "tournament earnings" are credited to Mizrachi. I could be splitting hairs but I think a new stats list and newly adjusted all-time money list (one based on ROI) would be good for the transparency of poker. It's also possible that more "transparency" would lead to scaring away customers. Just food for thought.BTW thanks for doing this thread its pretty fckin legit man.

that would be awful for the gamewhy do you care about the numbers being "deceptive"?they've still cashed for that much, who cares about interpreting how much they're up or down? and why should someone who is staked not be credited for the entire amount of their cashes?

I'm pretty sure PokerVT has a 3 days trial.

There's a hockey game tonight with a O/U of SEVEN, with the buyer of the over having to pay the extra vig. Insane. God is vegas needing people to offset the over action. Still gotta think over, right?

Despite pokernews101's nice compliment, I've given this some more thought and I'm not sure it's such a great question. As people at Ultimate Butt taught us, it's easy to play poker against someone when you know their hand. To counteract this I think it would be in the aces best interest to just go all in preflop. Then it becomes a simple matter of figuring out, if you're player B, where you're at against aces.

The guy who gets two aces would just go all in every time. You have to wait till whatever you want to make a stand with, and get lucky each time.So of course the guy with 2 aces has the edge on you.

Your right. If all the money skeletons came out of tv players closets the game would be ruined and no recreational players would want to play anymore. The system they have now just seems so smoke-screeny to me and ultimately pretty bad.

Just switch your question to pot-limit now what? No limit AA definitely has the edge I didn't think of that the first time around.

Hey Daniel,I'm off to vegas next week and was wondering if you had any tips on food available in or near any of the strip poker rooms that is vegan friendly. I know you tend to pack a lunch, but was hoping you might have some tips anyway. Any other must eat places would also be appreciated.Kind of a lame first post, but thought you'd be the man to ask. Thanks,Steve
Every restaurant at Wynn has great vegan options. Also, exciting news around that time, a new vegan restaurant near strip will deliver to you for WSOP at some point and the food is awesome!

What's your opinion on the WSOPc freeroll changes this year where instead of it being a $1m freeroll for top 100 pt earners, it is now a freeroll for them but top 100 pt earners in WSOP over last 2 years can buy in for $10k.Good for top pros but very bad for the WSOPc people?I know this year you are not in, but if you were, would you play it? It's day before WSOP ME, day 1a, and the FT is day 2c so the people who play would have to play day 1b.
It was announced ahead of time. It's free money. I'm fine with it.
