They really got the feel of these southern california horse gamblin guys down exactly right. But other than that, it took me several episodes to understand each storyline, it was just so hard to hear what people were saying, and it moved really slowly up until the last few episodes. Really not surprised it was cancelled, and it was definitely going down even if speedz had been able to save the horses.i'm really a fan of that world. so i was loving it and i will miss it.hey isn't mad men back on now? I've been rewatching it and I'm towards the end of the third season now. not sure whether I want to continue to spread it out so I end up watching season 5 towards the end of 2012 so I'll remember it better for season 6, or just pump them all out and get it out of the way. oh the decisions in my life.don draper would be a man and drink until the answer was obvious. I made the mistake of looking at the "career advice" section of some CPA forum last night and learned that PA firms don't really give a shit if you already have your CPA license and if you didn't go directly to a Big 4 firm right out of college, you might as well just kill yourself as you're never going to get above a Sr. Staff Accountant at some company because no matter how long you've worked there, they're going to hire some punk from a Big 4 for the controller or manager positions. I care about it because 1) He's only 17 and can sing like the Bocelli and 2) HE had no self-confidence. He wanted to think he was good, but he didn't really believe it. I love that.
