Lidstrom, back in 05-06. Mike Green flirted with it a couple times but topped out at 76 points.
Coincidentally, 76 is the max speed of his moped. And I'm talking km/hr

Just watched Goon. Pretty entertaining, and I'd recommend it for any hockey fan.
Yeah, I watched that over the weekend...it was pretty damn funny. I wish they hadn't made the main character as much of a mongoloid though...could have been funnier if he was just a tough guy who got a good opportunity, rather than being a complete imbecile.

Any of my fellow Canadians know how I can watch Sportsnet #1 online? I dont believe they have it available on the site, and none of the other sites show me a link. Any thoughts?
Don't know but I would like to know.

Buffalo Sabres 41-1 to win the Cup. How stupid am I? btw, Leafs are (19)67-1. sorry, noticed it, couldnt help myself.I think if Buffalo gets into #8 and plays the Rangers, Sabres win round 1.

Best case is Buffalo somehow gets the #7 seed and faces Boston, I think they're much more vulnerable than the Rangers are. Buffalo took down King Henrik in the playoffs once, but I don't think they can take them again. Of course, I didn't think Buffalo would even sniff the playoffs in March, so what do I really know...

There are rumours that Radulov might come back to Nashville this year and be able to play in both the regular season and playoffs without going through waivers. He is exactly what they need and if they can add him that would push Nashville right up there in the West I would think.

Makes sense since he is technically under contract but wouldn't that mean any team that has signed a player but who is in Europe could do that? I'm pretty sure that's not possible so what makes his situation different?

Nail Yakupov took a big hit tonight and is out with a "possible concussion". Hypothetically does he still go #1 if he misses the rest of the year with a concussion? I dont think an NHL team would want to take that risk first overall...cant see him dropping that much though. The coach also made a big deal about the hit being dirty. The hit was definitely a head shot but with Yakupov leaning forward I dont know what else the defenceman is supposed to do.

The only way I see Yakupov not going 1st overall is if the team that has the pick trades back to a team that wants to take Matthew Dumba. Pretty much everyone in this draft is taking hits to their stock so the rankings are staying the same but the expectations are depreciating.
