This deserves to get seen by a few more people. From our resident Stupidhead...v1.27Feral Cow Poker Hand ConverterHEM/Poker Stars NL Hold'em $1.00/$2.00 - 6 playersButton: $237.98SB: $200.00BB: $60.00

I remember when this thread was all about how bad KJ was at 3betting

He's probably not flatting KJ's raise otf if he had a2. Besides, A2 is such a small portion of his range here, we are never ever ever ever ever ever ever folding the turn. People are stupid, they do

Seriously... even if you have fear of Merge getting locked down by the DOJ... you are that nitty that you won't deposit like 50 bucks and chance it?Think of it like buying a game for the PS3

Just got back after a week in Colombia. Playing some tournaments. Within first 20 hands, got oversetted and ran AKs into AA. :club:

78 and not a cloud in the sky today. slight breeze made my hike extremely enjoyable... f y lfrom a blog I just read on dc: http://www.deucescracked.com/blogs/orestto...itles-Schmitles

Lately I think my game has improved the most by simply asking as much questions as I can when reviewing hands. It's harder to do when you're playing since you're brain is usually also trying to absorb as much information as it can at all your tables and at the same time focusing on each decision point and thinking ahead of the hand you're currently playing, etc. This is why it's so important to review hands, especially if you can talk them over with other poker players. It's also much easier to think about what our best action would be better different opponents without a 30-second timebank. Here's a few basic tips to force yourself to answer questions and develop a deeper sense of ranges and alternative plays:- Whenever you're value-betting (-raising), ask what hands in your range should you be bluffing with.- Whenever you're bluffing, ask what hands in your range should you be value-betting (-raising) with.- Whenever you fold because calling is -EV, don't forget to ask if you could've profitably bluffed (-raised). - What do you (or your opponent) always or never play like this? Especially useful when reading hands on the river.- Finally, always be aware of the 'air' someone could potentially have in their range and what they'll do with it.When routinely asking these questions you will also develop the ability to figure out who else asks himself which questions and it will also be easier to find out what level people are on, how they approach poker, and how to best exploit their strategy. Of course it's always changing and dynamic so don't stop asking questions and stay open-minded.

Don't know people's backgrounds in this thread but for the most part I can say the readers are intelligent and gifted enough with language where I wouldn't have a problem with them representing my company, which is why I'm going to throw this out there. The start up I'm working for is www.tifo.co or www.tifome.com . We are a text message marketing service, in a nutshell, but you can read as much about it on the site as you want. Dave wants to take us in the direction of branding Tifo, which is something the other services aren't doing (they basically sell themselves like a phone plan) but other than that we're a pretty standard service so far. I have other plans in store for what I want to offer and make available to the public/developers but I digress. We are going to be launching soon, planned for the 15th unless our other developer doesn't meet his deadlines. When we do launch we are going to be signing up a bunch of affiliates that will have the right to sell our service for a commission. The affiliate system will require us to approve you as an affiliate where we will then give you an affiliate code and a link to our site which will track which users you send there. (so instead of www.tifo.co we would give you www.tifo.co&parameter=101 for example). The prices in the store aren't set in stone, and I don't know the commission rates for certain, but Dave assured me he will make them attractive enough to make selling even the small packages worthwhile. Mind you, our products are subscriptions so you will be gaining recurring income. If anyone is interested in more information please email me at dan@tifo.co and yes, that is .co not .com... it's annoying which is why we're grabbing more domains.
