donk4life 34
I would probably call because im a calling station, but I think the correct play here is to fold.Folding isn't even an option here. Trueace13 is asking if it's a good spot to jam.
Chet Chetterson 0
Is there anything in villain's range that can take this line and loses to the flush, besides air? This feels like villain polarized his hand here.
RakeMyBlind 0
Folding isn't even an option here. Trueace13 is asking if it's a good spot to jam.Why is folding not even an option here? Given that villain is tight as stated by Trueace13 do you think he is going to check-raise worse than we hold? He is going to bet a Q on the turn most likely and given the size of the raise on the river this looks pretty strong. I may not be good enough to fold here, but it's definitely not impossible to seem right. That being said I would call since if we jam he's not calling with worse I don't believe.EDIT: Keep in mind I've never played this high, but I would imagine the play to be better than I'm used to. Especially if I have a read that the villain is TAG.

There were no table reads or anything that really was helpful to me at the time. A lot of people I have talked about with this hand and have had a lot of various responses, so I thought I would get some more opinions on it

I would fold before I would jam this spot.
spydur86 0
Eh, it's been said already but what are we beating that is calling if you shove? What are we losing to? I think I'd play it safe here and just call because to me it looks like QJ where he was going to bet out any drawing turn that wasn't his boat, but once he filled up he wanted to see if he could keep you along for the ride and let you catch up a bit. donk4life 34
No folding isn't an option against an unknown in this spot. I just believe there are too many hands a villain will overvalue in this spot. Backdoor flushes, random queens, and of course the occasional bluffs.

Chet Chetterson 0
What should i do? I'll post the result later if anyone responds.1. Please convert your hands.2. If he'll call you down with two overs then you should bet it, but not even all passive donks will do that.3. Fold preflop? Why play marginal garbage out of position where another limped ace can double up on you?
tbrick412 0
fold pre
TrueAce13 18
meh, we can complete, but we cant get involved in a big pot in this marginal situation
Good Tom Hunting 0
Thanks for the input. I will definitely think about folding in this situation next time. The reason I decided to ship it here was that I think villain shows up with 4x hands and 5x hands with lower kicker a fair amount of the time.
