Official St. Louis Rams Thread

It is SHOCKING how important a good QB is. Bradford IS the real deal. He better stop trying to run the ball. If I was the owner I was have run onto the field and screamed at him for taking that hit in the first half. The Rams are for real, and all they needed was a good QB.
Agreed. Huge win. I'm laughing at all the people who made fun of me when I bet on the Rams to win more then 5 games. Silly squares. The Rams are for real. The defence is really what is underrated on this team, they are putting so much pressure on the QB without even really blitzing every down, which was evident with all the sacks in the 1st quarter. Long looked really well too. But yes, Bradford needs to learn when to just lay down or toss it out of bounds. I had scary thoughts of the Sooner's hit that knocked him out when I saw him take that hit in the 1st half. But this is wonderful, the Rams have a chance to make the playoffs.

I think you guys are NFC West-For Real, but not NFC-For-Real. Bradford is maturing at an unbelievable clip and his accuracy is probably the best since Pennington (except Bradford has the arm that Pennington didn't).It's astonishing and frightening you guys are doing as well as you are. As a Seahawks fan, the next 3-5 years could be rough if we don't find our Bradford soon and have to face you guys 2x/year

Dang, I wish the Panthers would have beat the Seahawks. Sam Bradford again looked amazing. He is one of the best QB's, I've seen at making that pass when he's running out of the pocket the opposite way. So many QB's when they throw that ball, it's almost always a pick, yet he made that play maybe like 3 times today. And if it isn't there, he's just throwing it out of bounds. It amazes me how smart he is for just being the league for one year. Next year, if we can get him a WR in the draft, he'll be so sick. Next week is tough though, we have to go into New Orleans. I know NO hasn't been playing well, but it'll be a tough game for sure. But I'm so stoked to be a Rams fan right now.

You're not the only Rams fan!Bradford looks great and Steven Jackson is a god, but this team still sucks. If they weren't playing everybody in the 2 worst divisions...like...ever, they'd be about a 3-9 team. I'd be shocked if the division doesn't come down to the last week @Seattle, which I plan on going to if that's the case. Besides, I don't want them to do too well, I need em back in LA.

I wouldn't say we suck. I agree we have had one of the easiest schedules this year. But I don't think we suck. At the same time though, I know we for sure aren't one of the elite teams. I would say we are a good bad team if that makes any sense. I think we will win the NFC West, but I am pretty confident we likely will get bounced in the 1st round because we'll probably end up playing a team like New Orleans or Green Bay.

Fair enough. It would be fun to see a playoff game, though, after a decent drought. And the experience for Bradford would be great.

We lost the game but we're still in 1st at 6-7, lol. I know we lost, but we learned a lot about our QB in that game, imo. Near the end of the 4th quarter, the Rams were down like 20 or something like that in a meaningless game at that point, and Jackson fumbled the ball at like the 1 or 2, Sharper picked it up and had like a 10 yard lead on Bradford. Bradford chased him down for about 50 yrds and knocked him out of bounds to save the touchdown. I think that just shows how much heart the guy has, I highly doubt a QB like Peyton Manning would do something like that. There are a few other QB's who I think would make that play, but not too many. It just shows he wants to win and has that hunger. I feel so good about the future of this franchise.

That's how Jason Street got paralyzed...I'd prefer my QB to stay out of the way in blowouts.

i do not feel good about this game against kc. i cant explain it, but something feels fishy.
Believe it or not, this game isn't really that important. As long as they get one of the next two and win @Sea Week 17 they're in. Of course, if they could win this week and next week and Seattle loses to Atl and @TB, they get a bye week 17.

on the bright side, we still control our own destiny assuming the falcons get the job done today. on the down side, it looks like if we do make the playoffs, it's likely a match-up with new orleans.... faccccck

Don't worry, you won't get to the playoffs. :club:
