The problem really isnt with all news channels it really is a problem with us, as citizans of this country that we have our heads too far up our butts to think for ourselves. We have all been fighting for our political party to succeed, arguing that one is right and one is wrong. Who is right when everything has been all handled so obviously wrong? We can argue that our preferred party is the superior one, the correct one and the financially responsible one. Well I sure have had my thoughts and I still do, but who really is to say that my opinion is any better than someone elses, let alone the correct one. Seriously though, it runs so much deeper than our current political situation. The majority of our country has lost hope. So many have given up on personal responsibility. Our once strong and independent people now look to an imaginary source of comfort. I am ashamed and heartbroken by the spirit that has been sucked out of our people. What happened to the land of the free and the home of the brave, it is forgotten. I am still hoping that the despair and loss of self preservation will be lifted and we can once can all once again learn to stand on our own two feet. Gone are the concepts of taking care of others, so many now expecting the government to do this. When we could be helping others individually, instead of all fighting about which way the government should step in. What happened to our dreams, the countries sense of pride and entrepreneurship? My parents came to this country based on an ideal of what the United States of America represented. They were in search of the path of self improvement and achievement. Yes, we all have failed; the buy now, pay later buisness plan that so many corporations and individuals have based their lives on is an epic fail. Certainly there must be a way to fix this, I dont see any ideas from either party that does really address the core of the problem. Instead they are just providing band-aids, which will eventually fall off. So really instead of being angry at the government, for what we feel is wrong, and relying on our television programing to inform us. Wouldnt it be better to work together to solve the bigger issues. By being angry with our government we are allowing ourselves to be dependent. Of course, it will never change, and it is very, very sad that a very large portion of us can only see one view or side of things, instead of embracing concepts and showing empathy to others. It is really time to send the irresponsible politicians home, it seems like so many, are so out of touch with reality that they are useless to our country's needs. Unfortunatly none of this can happen, if we really truly cant see past the news or the political party we are registered under. Okay now, I know this extended way beyond which news station is the most accurate, but it just drives me crazy that we all and I am including myself here, just firmly believe that our own interpretation, of a fact, is the correct one.

I listen to Rush often, heard this show, heard what he said and what other are reporting he said.The two things are not equal.But Rush is the perfect barometer to test if a person is willing to think for themselves or just listen to their political side tell them what to think.I have listened to Rush for over 15 years, he speaks for 3 hours a day, almost every work day, (for a paltry $50,000 an hour)Yet someone reports one sound bite taken out of context or meaning and try to pigeon hole Rush into some caricature that doesn't exist. You have to be crazy to believe that a person like that would have the largest audience in the history of radio for over a decade. But if you are cool thinking that you 'know' Rush after listening to a few reports by people that don't like him...then I guess you aren't open to experiencing one of the best 3 hours in radio everyday.I would think that as a person in the limelight of society, you should know better than most that just because there is a story or report about a person and what he supposedly said, it doesn't make it true. If I wanted to show someone just a few snippets of your blogs, I can make you look like anything I want, from racist to nazi to homophobe to Hellmuth lover.

I thought Spelling was a subset of the rules of Grammar, not so? I freely admit I could be ignorant on this.But I am pretty certain that the confusion of "countries" vs. "country's" in the sentence "What happened to our dreams, the countries sense of pride and entrepreneurship?" is a mistake in grammar not just spelling.Again, I'm not the best "Grammar Cop" I was just being a nit.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I guess I have two responses: First, I was mostly trying to be funny (the operative word being 'trying'), and second, I dare you to find a black person anywhere at that protest!

I was somewhat being sarcastic, and while I don't really know your real standing on this, but there does seem to be quite a bit of liberals who throw the race card very quickly at these protests. "Hey look at that protest, its all white people, hmm they must be racist to obama" Now i'm anti-protest so I wasn't there, but I bet that there was no rule that said "White only protest"It's stupid to suggest they had such a rule, but so many people for some reason decided that in order for white people to protest, we have to get approval by black people.However if people decide that we DO require approval in order to protest, I think we got some left over credit from this guy that we can use.

He's black, so he should be President of a country in Africa (and Kenya because his father was Kenyan, I assume). I was going to comment on Daniel's post, but you do a good job here. The quote Daniel posted was the opposite of the point Rush was making. Rush was simply following the exact same logic Obama supporters, and most liberal politicians in Washington follow when they make most of their accusations of racism. I did hear most of this, and, correct me if I am wrong but I believe Rush was specifically mirroring the same tone as an article on race in either time or newsweek when he made the statement he made, in any event Daniel's posting of it as he did was a gross mischaracterization.

I was just joking really.(But, to me, grammar refers to sentence structure and spelling is, well, just spelling. There are blurred lines where an apostrophe or a type of pluralization can turn a spelling mistake into one of grammar.)

lol I think Glenn Beck might get some heat for what happened on his show today.It appeared that he threw a live frog into boiling water expecting it to immediately jump out...however the frog did not jump out.
