Yes, this is horrible, this post.

Turns out I'd do, what I've always done, cash farm subsidy checks and compulsively masturbate.

The majority didn't vote against him. The majority stayed home.   The GOP candidate had less votes in 2016 than in 2012 or 2008, when they lost both times.   Dems (and repubs) just HATED Hillar

You really don't think a few hundred years later that maybe it's a little outdated?
No. No I don't.
I will laugh, El Guapo, because while I do like you, I think everything you say about politics is insane and extreme. You think bill clinton is a mass murderer, FFS, I can't take you seriously at all w/r/t politics.
Really? You think I am the extreme one? Out of all the conservatives here, I am the extreme one?The Clinton thing was just to get people riled up, go back, I didn't even defend it.

Seems to me like the Obama statement is pretty obvious. Does anyone think the document is perfect? The authors didn't even think it was perfect, which is why they made it changeable.
Unfortunately the only way to change it requires more than is possible these daysSo we would first need to change the part about how to change it

I didn't say you were the extreme one, El Guapo. It's not a one person club. And yes, when you call Obama a facist, and play the Adoph Hitler card, that makes you extreme.

Trying to make a point, and yes he is a fascist. Its pretty much not debatable, unless he does the opposite of what he says he is going to do.

Books, they're not just for propping up the sofa with.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say, here, exactly, but unless you read the bible in it's original greek hebrew and Aramaic, you're full of it on this subject.

I am Canadian.

So we would first need to change the part about how to change it
This is what is known as a 'great place to start'.Obama's speech in Grant park was amazing. The USA is in great hands. This is a guy I think can deliver on every single promise he made in this campain.

So does he have to do the opposite of the thing he said?Or the opposite of what he said he would do to the thing?Opposite of the verb or the object of the verb?Just want to be clear

Tonight is very much the accumulation of a movement by the people on the left to take back the country. It's a repolorization of our country's politics from the year 2000. A reaction to the 'failed' presidency of Bush. The economic meltdown and the Bush administration did far more to destroy McCain's chances than anything McCain did himself.

You said the Bible was rewritten many timesThis is not even remotely true.Even when it is translated, that doesn't mean the same thing as re-written.So to imply that the Bible is a changed manuscript is false, and as such I can't let you say that without challenge.Plus, I am totally stuck not arguing politics in this of all threads, so I'm hoping to get some action. You think anyone will bring up the crusades?

Yea I beleive Mccain was the only one of the candidates they had that could keep it close. If Mccain didnt give up his best arguement, expirience, by picking Palin it might have been even tighter. 51% to 48% in popular vote is far from a blow out.

This is completely true. I don't think a resurrected Ronald Reagan could have won this election. I think McCain made some mistakes along the way, but really the reasons he lost were far beyond his control, he should keep his head up. I've always liked McCain, and and the Senate republicans will need his leadership now, more than ever. I am happy to see Palin's departure from National Politics, however.

I knew you were kinda old, but I had no idea you were around to oversee the original bible and make sure all its copies through the ages were identical. I mean, screw the 106 year old voter, Obama should have used you as the example of one who has seen change through the years! Oh wait though I forgot - bibles and constitutions don't change.

The Bible was written by men and for men. It has nothing to with anything BUT men. It is an atrociously stupid document that needs to be trashed, not read.

gonna say the same thing about al franken? :club:
Franken lost.
You make it sound like he's gonna be worse than Bush.Lets not forget, nobody has ever been that bad, ever. So I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy the change, and so will you.
It's obvious from your other posts that you don't know much about history, but if you really believe this you should probably pick up a book.
Ok then. But why is it that 60% matters and not 51%?
LOL. Is this the understanding of government that most dems have?
You really don't think a few hundred years later that maybe it's a little outdated?
*crickets* You're ****ing crazy. Outdated /= Changeable. The work 'outdated' is that obvious problem with this post... and because you chose that word it's obvious you are clueless.
Why not, it's been done plenty in the past.
Not by God... or Christians. Blame the mormons.

LOL. Since you are so well informed of all of his promises... please explain to me how he will keep the promise of giving tax cuts to 95% of the country when only 70% pay taxes. After you answer that, I have some more for you.

McCain ISN'T the only one that could keep it close... that was the biggest mistake the republicans made. They wanted to chose a centrist so that they would have a chance, but that just caused everyone in the party to not want to vote for either candidate. They was a very conservative radio DJ here that decided to vote for Obama to punish the republicans for picking McCain, since he didn't stand for anything that republicans stand for. He said that Palin almost made him switch but he just couldn't reward the republicans for choosing McCain. Also the popular vote is very close. How does it compare to Bush v. Gore or Bush v. Kerry?
