No one has a clue. Even the players I think who know what they're doing - playing tight, raising preflop - are only suffering the misfortune of never flopping a pair (middle, top, bottom, doesn't matter). E.g. I raised 6x with KK and 4 callers saw a flop of AQ5. Obviously I went for the check/fold, and followed through when the third player bet the pot. Two callers, and we finally saw a showdown - with weak follow-up bets - between TT (the original bettor), 99 and 58. Now back then - all of forty minutes ago - I thought all three players were moronic, but after having played on AP for an hour, I see otherwise;TT, a veteran of AP, figures that he can value bet his tens in this spot, as he'll be called by all sorts of hands. He reads me as "new," which means that I could have come from another poker site, where folding KK in huge multiway fields on ace-high boards is labeled "standard." Given the preflop action, he knows I have JJ or KK, which I'll lay down to a pot sized bet. 99, another veteran of AP, hopes to hit runner-runner nines so that he can win the Bad Beat Jackpot. On the turn he figures he has the implied odds to hit his nine, because players on AP will call any sized bet with hands as fragile as king-high. But, even if this happens, he'll panic and check/min-raise, because he wants value from his big hands. You could call this his "leak."58, an AP "regular," having flopped a pair, obviously isn't folding. He's seen players show up with underpairs in this spot many times before. Me, an idiot newbie, folds pocket kings. I definitely need to deposit $600 ASAP. Does AP accept e-passporte? I've had some trouble funding my account there lately, so are there alternative methods?
