Hi.   I thought of you when I took this photo.  

Warming up for for the NegO with the biggest Mexican beer out there,Pale colour, Not much head, no real nose, not a hop anywhere, very light, watery flavour, really need the lime.4.5%ABV

2 things. Chrozzo, as far as I am concerned, you started this craft beer craze for me. And 2. SuitedAces21 i hate Kansas.

Guinness is 1759 I believe, could be wrong.
Boddington < Guinness but not by as much as people think
Boddingtons is horribly easy to drink and very nice, my housemate bought a crate 4 days ago and there's 1 can left.McEwans is ludicrously strong, personally I think 8.1% ABV is too much for a beer. I don't like it too much. The optimum for taste is 4-5% imo.We brew our own beer/ale/stout at uni, produce about about 40 pints a week and it tastes nice and costs about 20p/pint.As far as fantastic ales gohttp://www.jenningsbrewery.co.uk/images/pu...snecklifter.gifcan't be beat.

But..BUT....i was going to rank it 3/10..but its the only beer they serve on arilines. And because of this, ive tried to bring my own brews, BUT....they conficated atthe gate, sadly. Since you're staying at the Sahara, if you have the need for a heineken, go across the street to Slots, they serve them for 50 cents a piece.....

I also dislike Heinekin. I love that chrozzo refers to it as the only beer on the plan (completely ignoring any domestic) lol.Chrozzo, go to the brew pub at Monte Carlo, they serve 14 beer carafes, with a tap attached. And its pretty good beer.

Glad to see Guinness getting first shout. The pictures killed me. I havent been home almost 2 years. Im dieing for a proper Guinness.You have to try an Irish Guinness in a proper pub. Its amazing. People(not irish obviously) try tell me that its fine, but thats becuase they havent been to Ireland. Im in agony dreaming of a creamy Guinness

Day 7:Newcastle Brown AleNewcastle Brown Ale is a brand of dark brown ale. It has been brewed in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, since April 1927 by Newcastle Breweries (now a part of Scottish and Newcastle).In August 2005, Scottish and Newcastle closed the Tyne Brewery. The last Brown Ale was brewed at Tyne in April;[1] production was moved across the river to the Federation Brewery in Dunston, Gateshead, where it is brewed by Newcastle Federation Breweries Ltd.Newcastle Brown Ale had originally been granted Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status by the EU. Since Scottish and Newcastle moved production outside of the city its PGI has been removed.[2]In Newcastle, the beer is often called 'Dog' (or simply 'Broon'). I dont like the clear bottle though, too dangerous, especially when it travels overseas to your glass. Can't beat this!
Actually you can, in many ways. But Killian's is a very good fall back.I picked myself up a 12 pack of Magic Hat HI.P.A. today, so I'm pretty happy. Almost went with the Sam Adams Double Bock, but spending $9 on a 6-pack thats made 30 miles from my house just doesn't always sit well with me.

Anchor Brewing Company is an American alcoholic beverage producer, operating a microbrewery and distillery on Potrero Hill in San Francisco, California. The brewery was founded in 1896, and was purchased by its current owner, Frederick Louis Maytag III, in 1965, saving it from closure. It moved to its current location in 1979. It is one of the last remaining breweries to produce California Common beer, also known as Steam Beer, a trademark owned by the company.Anchor Brewery is largely responsible for the growth of the microbrewery movement in the United States. After prohibition ended in the U.S., many small, locally-operated breweries were able to re-open and recommence brewing (although many more, perhaps most, were not). The vast majority of these concerns served only the immediate vicinity of their sole plant, a radius of a few miles to perhaps a 100 or so. Local breweries and beers were the source of local pride in many communities, especially those with large populations of German, Polish, or Czech extraction. Many of these thrived on through World War II and into the 1950s. Most did not survive the 1950s, however, due to the influence of television advertising and the mass marketing tactics of major national breweries such as Anheuser-Busch, Schlitz, Pabst, and Miller. The whole idea of such beers and breweries was largely forgotten in the U.S. Maytag desired to establish such a small-scale brewery, with small-town quality and taste being the hallmarks of his beer. He was already a fan of Anchor Steam Beer when he learned that the brewery was about to close. In 1965, Maytag purchased 51 percent of the brewery for a few thousand dollars, and later purchased the brewery outright.Things began to change in the 1980s when Maytag's signature brew, Anchor Steam Beer, began to achieve national notice. Demand skyrocketed from only a few thousand cases a year that he had been making in the old tradition. His success prompted many imitators, which he welcomed, since he could not have produced Anchor Steam in the mass quantities of Budweiser or similar mass-marketed brands and made a product with which he and his consumers would have been satisfied. The rise of modern microbreweries also encouraged the establishment of "brewpubs", where beer is brewed on the premises in small batches for consumption in what is often something of a fine-dining restaurant setting. Anchor and other microbreweries have been the beneficiaries of a trend to drink smaller quantities of higher quality alcoholic beverages of all types which has been developing in the United States since the 1970s. Anchor Brewing remains the only commercially demanded producer of steam beer in the United States.In 1993, the company opened Anchor Distillery, a microdistillery in the same location as the brewery, and began making a single malt rye whiskey, named Old Potrero after the hill. In 1997 the microdistillery began producing gin, called Junípero - Spanish for juniper, and a reference to Junípero Serra, an important figure in San Francisco's and California's history. Recently they have also begun producing a Jenever style gin called Genevive, using wheat, barley, rye, and the same herbal ingredients as their Junípero gin. Fritz Maytag also owns York Creek Vineyards, a winery on the Napa-Sonoma border.
This is one of my personal favorites. It has a very crisp flavor refreshing on hot day, but still dark enough that the amber flavor can be enjoyed with a heavier meal. Can be a little hoppy, but has a medium bitter flavor.El Guapo's ranking 9/10No crazy story for this beer, I usually keep a few on hand to enjoy with dinner or if I am working in the garage.
