bdc30 0
What a great gesture for GWCGWC to donate that 1hr of DN's time for his charity, so I thought hmm, what more can we do...How about a prop bet/pool type thing for the auction?? We can sell increments of $50, and we'll start at say $500 (bidding is at $400 within the first hour). The higher the auction goes, the more $ we will make. The winnings will be divided 50/50 - with half going to GWCGWC to add to whatever the auction brings in, and the other half to the winner. Say, $10 a spot?? Money to be shipped to bdcfcp (City Dutton-Fcp) on Pokerstars - OR to bdc30 on FullTilt. I held the pool for the WSOP river card and shipped pronto, for anyone that questions my motives here. Anyone in? I'll take $1000 to start it up. Maybe DN will enter/match whatever we get too?? Prize amount rounds UP at anything over the dollar amount (so if it's $1001 for example, the guy with $1050 wins). As the bids get higher, I'll keep extending the ceiling for the pool. To be fair though, I'm gonna close the pool 24 hours BEFORE the auction ends, so as not to allow any past-posting, therefore, pool will be closed on October 4th at midnight.$900 ---BudBundy$950 ---BalloonGuy$1000 ---bdc30 $1050 ---janfor99$1100 ---Dna4ever$1150 ---GWCGWC$1200 ---Zach6668 $1250 ---Renaedawn <------------ Current High Bid -- BalloonGuy$1300 ---Leftygolfer$1350 ---jhnyblz$1400$1450 ---Samhard8$1500 ---Seacucumber$1550 ---thehidden$1600$1650$1700 ---Lolli$1750 ---bdc30$1800 ---thehidden$1850 ---Samhard8$1900$1950 ---JustLikeNegs$2000 ---Northpacific$2050 ---Allie$2100 ---Seacucumber$2150$2200$2250 ---20TN40$2300$2350$2400 ---Renaedawn$2500 ---Northpacific$2550$2600$2650$2700$2750$2800$2850$2900$2950$3000$3050$3100$3150$3200$3250$3300$3350$3400$3450$3500$3550$3600$3650$3700$3750$3800$3850$3900$3950$4000$4050$4100$4150$4200$4250$4300$4350$4400$4450$4500$4550$4600$4650$4700$4750$4800$4850$4900$4950$5000 ---James D

GWCGWC 83
I can't resist a good prop bet. Here's the deal though. You'll want to make sure people understand that the winning bid must be verified and paid to count. That may take a few days beyond the ending of the auction. I'll take $1150.shippedI also think everyone making a pick should disclose what charity they would be donating too.

bdc30 0
Same thing with the pool -- anyone not "well known" to FCP will have to ship and be verified before going up on the "board" for the pool.
renaedawn 1
I want in on this too but I'm at work right now so no Pokerstars and won't be home until late tonight. If Glengary will ship the $10 for me (I'll get ya back as soon as I get home tonight) I'd like the 1250 spot.If you can't do it, Glengary, no worries.

ThePhoenix88 0
What if the winning bid is like 1125? Who wins, 1100 or 1150? I think if it is half way in between a bid it should go to the lower dollar amount. Or it could be split. I should learn to read.
bdc30 0
Also --VERY IMPORTANT --- When you've shipped, please post that you've done so AND include BOTH your forum name AND your Stars name so that we can match up who has paid.

bdc30 0
I also think everyone making a pick should disclose what charity they would be donating too.No, this is for your charity too, I will withhold 1/2 of whatever the prize pool is, and ship it to you to add to your donation. (which hopefully DN will also match)

bdc30 0
Can you degenerates NOT read the OP -- It's not "pick your own" charity -- I'm gonna ship 50% of whatever we take in to GWC to add to the donation, thus, it will hopefully be doubled by DN. You're all blinded by the gambooool factor, I know.
