John Racener Slow Plays Quad JacksThere was 4,000 in the pot and was on the board. The came on the river and a player bet out 6,000, John Racener called. Racener turned over JJ for quads, his opponent mucked his cards and Racener moved up to 46,250.Something is very, very wrong with this update.

Ok, I'm leaving in about an hour. Does ANYONE know looshle's or DN's table? I imagine I can find the latter by asking around, but unless I can find Kirk or PMJ in a sea of asstards (notice I'm not calling you an asstard, you are just in a sea of one, like a swan in a sewer or something), I'll have a tough time getting a quick update and photo for you guys. PM me or respond in the next hour if ya know, tyty.
I haven't gotten off Tommy's couch in a few days so I'm luckily not drowning in that sea of asstards. :club: I text messaged Looshle, I'll post his stack/table if he replies.

Ok, he's at table 3 and he has already doubled. He raised to 300 with 9h7h utg, got re-popped to 1100 and made the call. Flop 992, he checks, raiser bets 2200 and Justin shipped all in. Guy tanked and called with KK....Weeeeeeeeeeee.

Weird, p5slive said the guy had AA, so either they got it wrong or Justin got the letter K mixed up with the letter A in his text. :club:

is negreanu's overall wsop performance a cause of concern for a pro like him? i understand it's just a few events and luck is a significant factor, but it seems like some pros (freddy deeb!) are consistently rising to the top. is this a sign, at the most meaningful cluster of events of the year and with the donk factor of past years reduced, that his approach/skills are not top-notch?

If 2 events towards the end of the series are cause for "rising to the top" status then yes Freddy is doing very well. Don't forget Daniel was probably a profitable player during the series this year and made 2 final tabled coming in 5th and 3rd. Don't know what you're trying to get at.

i'm just curious, i really don't know that much about poker. did many people enter as many events as he did, and do as well or better? what i'm getting at is whether you consider him near the top of the pack or just one of many more or less equally talented pros.

Due to the Various Bracelet Bets Eli Elezra had with the top Pros many of them did play a lot of events this year. And many of them did not fair as well as Daniel. His 2 final tables would be condsidered a great world Series for most, and even for one of the best players in the world it has to be considered a very solid one.

If making 2 final tables is bad (would of done better if not for some bad beats) then pros such as Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Phil Laak, Greg Raymer, and ect are horrible.

GL to DN and all FCPers!Saw this from pokernews:You may (or may not) have heard that Phil Hellmuth had a little accident yesterday. Phil was driving an UltimateBet-themed race car around the Rio parking lot when he lost control and smashed into a concrete light fixture. After he reached his seat today and the other players asked what happened it sounded like Phil said the steering locked up on him right before the accident. A cameraman who saw the accident said, "If it wasn't for luck, he probably would have hit them all."

Down to 6k now. I wonder if DN's troubles with big field events and online poker are that he is just too acustome to playing with pros and dosen't adjust his game for the opening rounds of these larger events? Hope he makes a great comeback but I' not betting on it! :(I think DN needs to practice up on some online donkaments!
