All of my poker playing goals have been unrealistic. My new goal is to reach 1K in forum posts. I need to average 11.5 posts/day. I plan to bump many threads, +1 the soon to be locked ones, and start many a flame war.Non poker related goals are to find a pea coat, punch someone in the face, and run someone off the road for driving to slow in the left hand lane.

Last day of April the heater continued, turned $200 into $850 in just over an hour at 1-2NL

April Goals: Didn't have any. I won a $5 tournament on FTP and cashed for about $600 or so. Started playing $50 NL and have my br up over $1000. May Goals: - Get in at least 5000 hands playing mostly 50NL with a couple of shots at 100 NL- Play in at least 3 or 4 $24+2 tournaments on FTP by getting in through satellites- Have my br up over $2000 by the first of June

April Results-Get back to playing poker regularly (spring break and some discouragement ended March early). Play 10k hands.Half check. Didn't play as much until the second week or so and finished with 8,627 hands.-Avoid paying off with weak hands.Check. I felt I improved this aspect of my game a lot more.-Build BR to $2000 playing 50 NLHE. Failed. I made about $395 (peaked at almost $500 before turning the nuts and getting it all-in, and then the river filled him up to start a slight downswing). Bankroll finished at $1393.May Goals-Continue playing poker regularly after I go home for summer break.-Play 15k hands of 50 and 100 NL-Build BR to $2000-Post more hands in the NL strategy section.

Never posted one of these.Recover from a rough month. I must have been one of Lee's chosen few because when he quit I went set over set at least once each session I have played this month. Considering how badly I have run the damage wasn't that bad.Now that school is done I would like to concentrate on poker a bit more.Bankroll today: $2600End of the month I would like this to be over $3.5K playing mostly SH 100 NL.I would also like to begin playing live more as I am moving to an oil boom town that is rumored to have a juicy scene.

Revised May Goal - Play ONLY tournaments this month. Would like to play somewhere between 30-50 sng's (180 man mostly). Mix in the occasional small-midsized mtt <$20. Make 5 final tables, and one win. Starting roll for the month ~1000. End month goal $1500.Made a ft last night in the 8.80 omaha/8, but came 5th.Oh - and can someone tell me what I need to do to have pokertracker import tourney summaries from Stars? Can it be done automatically?

Seems like a lot of people didn't get to play as much as they wanted in April. Fortunately, realizing that I'd be swamped with school, I set my bar pretty low.May Goals

• Play the Silver Medal freeroll that I qualified for on FT. (First time I've ever played enough in a month to qualify for anything on Stars or FT.)
• Play as much as I can from the road. I'll be traveling a lot this month.
• Play some satellites to the WSOPC ME in New Orleans.

April Goals/Results

• Play 50 STTs of $50 and above.Ended up playing 85 STTs. Mostly $50, but a lot of $100s also. Finished with an overall ROI of 15%...which I think is decent, but it's kind of meh.

k, gonna need to redo my hand totals goal and take back on my SnGs total goal. So, I'm gonna try to get in 50 SnGs between 24-36 turbos on FT and Stars and get in like 25-30K hands while running around 1.75-2 BB/100 at both 2/4 and 3/6 SHLHE

that was my april. well, I got in 23K at 2/4 SHLHE and dropped a little over 900. The move back to SHLHE didn't go fully as planned, but I did cut things off with a week to go in april after dropping like 130 bbs in one session. I decided to not really play anything serious until finals are over, which is the 11th. So, I'll probably start up playing again on the 14th, so I hope to get in like 20K hands at 2/4 and hopefully 3/6 SHLHE across stars and FT(especially once the lag starts to die down). I still want to hopefuylly run at 1.75-2BB/100 as I know I can beat the game for that level at this level

Okay. My April goal was just to make money. Mission accomplished. I went back to the beginning, playing nothing but $10NL and $25NL. Got in almost 3100 hands which is a good volume month for me and ran at 7.8ptbb/100. Net Profit: $99.45.As part of my preparations for the WSOP I'm trying to play a lot of STT. I got in 16 10 person $3.40 turbos on Stars and ran 3/1/1/11 for a net ROI of +10.29%.Fooled around with a few MTT, cashed in a couple micro 5CD, did not do much else.May Goals50 STT, same limit with a positive ROI.3500 micro NL cash hands with a solid winrate.My WSOP trip details are almost all fleshed out, so as the month nears its end I will probably add on more stuff that I think will help me prepare.

Hey guys this is my first time setting a goal for myself within this topic. Bit of background real quick....deposited 55 on stars in oct played exclusively tournies and sng's mostly 5 dollar 27 mans, up and down like a roller coaster. played a 8 dollar mtt and got 4 had my br up to 600. probably two months of playing tounies and couldnt really get anything going, had basically a meltdown, had major leaks in my tourny strategy, mostly fancy play syndrome, and i am playing generally low stakes games, 180 sng's stuff like that.... crash all the way down to 100 bucks by the end of january. Decided I hate all things tourny related and sng's restart basically at .01/.02 NL and make the decision to abide by very strict br management. grind it up and play .02/.05 NL when i get to 120 bucks (had a 20 buy in br rule) grinded it to 200 moved to .05/.1 NL had a rough start went back down built up went back to .05/.1. grinded for all of march in that stake trying to get to 500 in my br. grinded finally got there moved to 25NL.... ran good and destroyed the game 2 weeks went up to 1k in my bras it stands right now i have 1.4k in my br and recently bought cardrunners. i am playing 50NL and playing any tourny where i have 100 buy ins or more.... I play mostly cash cuz i feel my edge is the biggest there and as u see i have definately had success in cash. tournies are mostly for fun. havent played the rebuys really and still want a bigger roll before i start playing the rebuys.Goals for May:Do my best to work my roll to 2k.Purchase PT and PAHUD and become proficient in both programs.Once i figure out PT and PAHUD reach a 8bb/100 (if it isnt already at that point) I really think it is close here at 50NL the play is definately tougher.Oh and become goldstar on PS
