iggymcfly 0
Maybe I should adjust my monthly goal up a little bit. I just got a river call from someone who couldn't beat my board in a 30/60 stud game. I LOVE Party.

dimseven 0
For Sept I actually want to sit down and play more than 1000 hands. A lot more. Focus on 1tabling 10-20 to improve (while doing something else). Read King Yao's book (that I just got from Amazon). Get a new monitor so I can 2-table 3-6 while I'm 1tabling 10-20. Play 100 more 21 HULHE SNGs on Stars, then move up to 52.5's. Get good at LO8. Read Sklansky on Razz (Poker) and get better at razz.Since I have almost 1800 FPPs on Stars, I'll also try and satellite into the WCOOP 215 LHE event. There's a 200+R satellite for it. I wish the event was a RB tourney.

Not for the whole month?Im not a grinder... what i was getting at is that I haven't been playing much, but 1000 hands for the last month might be only a slight exaggeration. Jordan 1
Hey guys, I just made a life mistake and got a DUI. I'm currently trying to figure all this out (court, attorney, estimated cost...etc) and I really am aware of the seriousness of what I did. So, as a front, I'm gonna learn from this. Now, as far as poker...I really feel depressed right now and that "life tilt" feeling so I think I'm going to stay away from cash games for a while. At least until I get more of this settled. I think cash games could be a big leak as I know I'm going to be more open to steam sessions now.I guess once I have a picture of the punishments for my crime I'll re-address my goals...but I'm just kinda posting here cause I wanted to just get stuff off my chest.Anyways, all the above said. I'm basically staying away from cash games for a while and will only play tournaments when I decide to play, until I feel the "life-tilt" has passed and I'm ready to get back to a normal way of life.GL2U all this month. Don't drink and drive, even when you know you're not drunk but would probably blow over if tested. That's how I was last night.- Jordan

Even now, my wife and I will split a bottle of wine plus consume a couple drinks on a special night out. I would probably blow >0.8. stay strong.

I'm not quitting or anything..I just wanted to be careful not to stress myself into thinking I "have to make x dollars" cause of this. The thing that is slightly stressing is the apartment I'm getting in a month and hopefully having all the money I need straight up when that time comes.I'll get thru it though. iggymcfly 0
Wow, that sucks Jordan. I've been there, so I know what you're feeling right now. I wish I had some advice, but there really isn't much. You're gonna feel bad about what you did for a while, and there are gonna be some nagging unpleasant consequences in the future that seem to stretch on a lot longer than they should. Actually, I'm pretty sure this isn't recommended, but what I did is after the initial "god, why did I have to do that" period, is basically decide that it was over and there was nothing I could do about it, so I wasn't going to feel bad. I just made a conscious decision, and kind of went from there. Anyway, good luck with everything. Try not to beat yourself up too hard.
