Recommended Posts

Page 1990I graduated from HS in 1990.I just did an estimate and I smoked over 2lbs of pot that year.
I was 3 years old. We had just moved into our new house, which we're still in now.

I'm about to drink wine and eat french fries. Gourmet.edit: Yep...I liked my own post.

I'm back in the land of cold weather, wind, and snow. I left CA on a day it reached 90 degrees and arrived in Anchorage to 12 degree weather, caught a plane to Unalaska where it was 34 with 2 inches o

It Was Written - probably my favorite of his albums.
I love Nas. Easily in my top 10 favorite MC's of all time. It Was Written is probably my 4th favorite Nas album, though, behind Illmatic, Stillmatic, and God's Son.
I prefer Biggies second over his first, but they are both pretty much must own albums for any hip hop fan. Otherwise yea, I agree with you.Brad, we have another person that can sit at our table in the back with the cool music & strippers :club:
I'll be at that table. Biggie is my favorite MC of all time. Ready To Die is classic from beginning to end, but I think there are more songs I like on Life After Death. Born Again was pretty weak, though, I thought.
I'd be honored!!! lol I was first introduced to hip hop by albums such as Stone Cold Rhymin - Young MC, Eazy Duz It - Eazy E, and NWA and The Posse - NWA. Those were the first three hip hop albums that I ever owned. The rest is history...
The first hip-hop album I owned was DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince's "I Think I Can Beat Mike Tyson," but let's not use that to judge...
Yeah, kinda like the Republican National Convention.
BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN!
Man, you musical elitists take all the fun about a stupid catchy song. Does everything have to be all about musicianship and profound lyrics?
No, it just has to be not fucking annoying like everything that band has ever done.----------Mourning (still is on the west coast) everybody. Glad to see you're back, Brett.

how do you not know about 1984? It is part of our modern lexicon along with Orwellian, Big Brother, Thought Police, and Doublethink. Damn!
Don't forget the most important reference, Radiohead named a song after it.

I think he was refering to Andrew Black.andrew-black_1245.jpg
Black's crying episode was in 2004, I believe, when the guy didn't come back from dinner on time. Didn't think it was this year. I could be wrong, though.

This probably got answered already, but I think his name was Adam Friedman. The kid with the red hair who called a huge river bet with 2nd nuts and ran into the nuts?
it hadn't been answered.....and thank you.

But Troy Aikman, and the Bush twins, and Willie Nelson all want you to come back.....

He's right about one thing, though, I am a Jedi.
being a sith lord is much more cool. You get full knowledge of the force that way. okay, so I have like a fuckton of pages to catch up on. I wish I had some big story behind it, but mainly, my comp has been sucking balls lately, so I had to get it repaired. I just wanted to comment on Monseieur Dickman's jediness, and want him to realize his faults on that. I also have to agree with blue's assesment of whoever this new dude is, if he is still even around. So, I have like another 50 pages to catch up on, so what will be the over/under of when I finish. Its 2:25 right now, I'm predicting that I will make it by 5 est. I have nothing else better to do since its crap outside right now

Coincidentally, some people believe that I lack both.
I always get a kick out of reading a post like this and then reading your sig. Somehow seems really funny to me. And I'm not smoking anything.

today's words of the day are "restraint" and "tact"
I can use some on occasion.
Coincidentally, some people believe that I lack both.
Like here, for example.

don't know if these boards opperate differently then the 2+2 ones do when it comes to ignoring users, but if they don't, you can still see what the ignoree wrote if someone quotes them to respond. I'm rather jealous that y'all can use it, cause as a mod I have to read everyone's posts. My ignore list at 2+2 is like 25 deep

Those are 2 qualities that are much easier for me to exhibit when others don't run around the forums acting like an immature little brat who needs to remember to treat others with the same courtesy that she has been given. It's so hard to be the better person in that situation.

Phew.I was worried that I was the only one around here that hadn't read those books.
You're not the only one, but I might be the only one who has no intention of reading them or seeing the movies.Edit: That was a bad sentence.

I intend on seeing the movies eventually. and I might get around to reading the books...Edit: I just saw your edit, so now this makes less sense, but I'm leaving it.

God's Son was good too. I really like Made You Look from that album. IMO, the best track on that one. "...Knock a pimp's drink down in his pimp cupThat's the way you get Timberland'd up..."I can't say anything about Jazzy Jeff & the fresh prince. If Summertime comes on the radio...You better believe that shit is getting blasted!!!
