Zach6668 513
Meh, I usually just avoid situations like this. The flop is ok because he could just be stealing from last position, meh, I'd be a lot more likely to just check/fold though. He's betting into 2 others, he can't expect to take the pot down there very often, esp with the flush draw out, etc. Unless he has the flush draw, then we're almost never ahead of him, and a flush draw has like a million outs and overs vs us. (grrrr.... I thought it was 4 handed at first, this makes it more likely to be a steal bet now).Once you get coldcalled and CO calls, you should probably just check/fold the turn.Meh, I don't "hate" the way you played it... TJ_Eckleburg 0
It's a nice thought... And I love you cultivating that aggression, but remember...Out of position. Small pot. Worse-than-marginal holding. Also, it doesn't irk us terribly bad if a LP limper makes a stealin' play and we have to fold our 3rd pair in a 1.75 BB pot.
CoranMoran 0
Yea, flop bet is questionable.I sometimes make it against 2 tight players. But there's not much need to fight for this pot.Calling a raise must be horrible. We have no good plan on future streets.Once we hit 2-pair, I think we can be more aggerssive.Definitely lead the turn. No free cards allowed. But after the turn raise, I still like to push once more.So I either 3bet the turn or lead the river once more.--CM
Shimmering Wang 1
This play is fine if you called a raise in the big blind, and the pot is a little bigger, but is a pure spew here. It has to work incredibly often to have any value.Once the player behind you calls two cold, I think I'm taking a check/fold line on the turn. That way, any draws are likely to check back, and you might snap off a bluff on the river, or win the pot UI.But I'm dogging it on this flop, because it's just not worth the effort. It has a drastic effect on your table image, though. This is either good or bad, depending on your opponents and what you're trying to accomplish over the next few hours.Wang
