projectaero 0
Hey guys.I just have a couple of questions in regards to blinds and raising pre flop.Is this correct: ($1/2 NO LIMIT HOLD EM)Player 1 Small blind $1Player 2 Big Blind $2Player 3 - Raise ($5) (When he says raise does that mean he puts in $5 or does that mean he puts in $5 + $2 to cover the big blind)Player 4 - FoldsPlayer 1 Small Blind - Does the small blind get cheaper and only have to pay $1 to equal the blind blind and then the $5 to raise or does Player 3's Raise cancel the big blind out.Player 2 Big Blind - Same thing with small blind does he get in cheaper as well ?Sorry if this is confusing. But it would be great to know.Cheers

If the raiser says raise and throws in a $5 chip, then it's $4 for the SB to call and $3 for the BB.Now, if the raiser says raise... puts in his $2 to call and then throws in a $5 chip, it's $6 for the SB to call and $5 for the BB.Make sense now?If he says "I raise it $5", that would mean a total of $7. The $2 call and the $5 raise. If he says "I raise it TO $5", then a $5 chip covers it.

finztotheleft 0
You know you are a fish if you attempt to ridicule a new member of the forum who asks a legitimate question because he is new to the game
