RDog 0
Heading to Vegas this weekend for a Bachelor Party. Anyone have a recommendation for something on the Strip? Ruth's Chris is the backup but would like something closer. Also, no formal dress. Thanks.

GetSprung 0
MGM Grand Buffet on weekends is the best around. AINEC. Bellagio was rumored to be high end, but I ate there 3 straight days and wasn't impressed.

Can it be about someone else for once?Harrah's steakhouse is always good. The Cortez room at the Gold Coast is very good also. Like me some of their king crab legs. The Spice Market Buffett at the Planet Hollywood (old Aladdin's) is a GREAT buffett. Expensive, but well worth it.Just the opinion of a FAT man. Where in vegas is NOT expensive? First week of May was my first time on the strip and I couldn't get over how expensive it was to eat, almost everywhere. I stayed at the Mirage and the damn breakfast buffet was $13.50. Eat at Stack, Ohno, Japanese (sp) and you won't leave for anywhere close to $100.That said, I do recommend Stack and Ohno (italian food), they both had great food. And I was there for work so the company card handled all the bills... HoosierAlum 0
Going to Vegas for the summer tomorrow, staying at the Mirage this week . Holla @ a player. Not sure about your question, I've heard Nine(sp) at the Palms is really good but I've never been.
grocery_mony 8
Not to hijak, but what about buffets in vegas? What are the best?Of the ones mentioned so far Spice Market>Bellagio>Rio>MGM.Those are considered to be the best in town. I have also tried the Wynn which was ok for dinner but the best breakfast I have ever had. Most expensive in town though, about $20 for breakfast and $40 for dinner. Spice Market for dinner($25) and Wynn for breakfast($20) and In n Out Burger for lunch($5)

nutzbuster 7
Ruths Chris on Flamingo, just past the Palms. A I A E CSeriously, if you want a butter slathered SIZZLING hot perfect slab of dead cow heaven, this is it.But that said, any of the aforementioned establishments will rock out. Joes at Caesars is awesome too btw.You really can't lose with any of those picks, but I just love the taste of Ruths Chriss' steaks.Have fun.

El Guapo 8
You can go to Ruth Chris Steakhouse anywhere. My wife and I went to Mesa grill (at Caesers) and she had the NY strip steak there, and Mr. Bobby Flay out did himself, it was the best Steak we have ever tried, better than Ruth Chris and Mortons. Plus they had a fantastic Somlmlier there to help pair some wine with your dinner, he was very young, about 24, but he did a great job for us. It is expensive though, the bill with tip was an even $300 for the two of us.

Craigdog 0
The Mandalay Bay has a SUPERB steak house called "the steak house" in the main lobby with the other restaurents which is highly recommended. The Flamingo does the best value for money buffet on the strip and the Bellagio & Rio have the best Buffets when price isn't an issue.Enjoy!!!

I just love the flavor.and a HUGE thumbs up to Mesa Grill! It is in my top 5 faves for Vegas (even though I don't think of it so much as a classic "steak house"). I had one of the best Filet's EVER there...just seasoned so differently. Amazing. The food there is just twisted up a notch, just enough, and is out of this world. This is a must go to restaurant for anyone.
